RM 'Indigo' Album Magazine Film 

So, I see a lot of posts like we let Namjoon down or whatever because his work hasn't got as much views or streams as maknae line's work, etc. But you know what, Namjoon's work is a piece of art. It's the type of music that doesn't need any validation from fans or general public. It's something that will stand the test of time, will be loved by music critiques, and will be really appreciated and highly regarded by the people who think and feel deeply and are aware of their emotions, thoughts, and actions. So, I'm kinda happy that only the people who really appreciate Namjoon's music are here. Thank you so much for making a freaking relatable album, buddy!!!!

말을 아주 기똥차게 하시네...예술에 대한 자아가 확실하고 자기 소신이 확고하네요. 사실 모든 예술인들이 이런 의식을 가지고 늘 진보하고 공부하고 또 자기 표현에 대해 강한 책임의식을 가지고 영향력을 주면 좋겠다고 생각합니다. 같은 예술인으로서 매우 존경스럽네요.

Indigo is my favorite solo album. The reason because there's an emotional connection with each song . After watching this documentary my respect and admiration for this man has really increased. Indigo is an masterpiece and how he showed his true self, his struggles, his life through this album. How carefully he chose the artists. And wat i loved thr most was his excitement abd enthusiasm when he spoke about each track . Not everyone appreciate this kind of songs

I believe Namjoon is going to remain in the music history as one of the most important people of 21st century and this is not an exaggeration. He's achieved so many things and all of this before reaching his 30s. He's already contributed a whole lot and he'll leave a real legacy behind. He's just majestic and not only a very skilled, passionate and determined rapper and songwriter but also an amazing and very down to earth person. No matter how much and how many people try to throw dirt on his name, artists and people who appreciate art, acknowledge Namjoon's artistry. He's really one of my favourite and loveliest people in the world. 🌍❤🥰

I am really grateful to the universe that these 7 people exist, I love how RM shows all that complex of emotions and expresses it through his music, here he shows once again why people love him 💜

Can we all agree that the fact that a RM’s song changed a producer’s mind on retiring from his work is an absolute proof that he makes the most beautiful, soulful, deep and inspiring songs in the entire world? Without Namjoon’s music I could never, I COULD NEVER!!

You can see how creative he is, so genuine in sharing his stories and giving everyone involved in the album to shine too, the producer in wild flower literally got into his passion in producing again after this song, i really loved Yun,closer and still life meanings, thanks Namjoon for everything♥

I can listen to joon talk about music forever. I'm glad that he could finally show to the world his place as an artist. This album and the interviews for Indigo really show how much love and respect RM has for music and art. Everything is an ode to artists and genres he admires. It acknowledges everything that makes up his being, while trying to figure out what is purely him in it all. Loved hearing from everyone involved and the extremely thoughtful process spanning years. Indigo is brilliant and the music and sentiments will stay with me for a long time.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I'm just overwhelmed with how Namjoon managed to get all these incredible musicians and artists on one album weaving a personal story that is cohesive and resonates with us as we, too, grapple with our identities, self doubts, relationships as we try to live as best as we can. Indigo is an album that has made an impact on his collaborators as well where they all have been challenged out of their comfort zones, evolved in their artistry, affirmed their beliefs in being true to themselves & their music, learned more about Namjoon the person and for producer Docskim revived his passion for music. This album defies stereotypes and preconceived prejudices that permeate the music industry. Namjoon made the impossible a reality. Inspirational !

영상 다 봤는데 진짜 감동이다..전곡이 다 좋아서 최애곡은 들을때마다 바뀌는데..역시 타이틀은 타이틀이다라는 생각도 들고..한곡 한곡이 다 소중하다 정말ㅠㅠ 피쳐링해주고 프로듀싱해주고 작업에 참여해주신 모든 분들도 진짜 다 넘 멋있다..ㅠㅠ 김남준을 좋아하는걸 넘어서 덕후가 될 수 밖에 없는 이유는 앨범 뒤에 이런 스토리까지 진솔하게 들려주기때문이다..너무 귀한 영상, 귀한 앨범!! 인디고 짱! 김남준 짱!

This film/documentary on his album making showed just how Namjoon is so introspective! I have always loved hearing and watching him talk..so much emotion and enthusiasm. To hear him describing his innermost thoughts while putting this album together made me appreciate and respect him more than ever, if that’s possible! He really is such a deep thinker and has so many different aspects to him as a person and a performer. I don’t think a lot of us truly realized just how different and unique his “musical artistry” is…it’s like him, many layers. BTS is made up of 7 very different and deeply talented young men…as they walk through this “chapter 2” part of their lives, I think we will discover many more secrets to them…and here we fans thought we knew them! No, they are so much more then what they have shown us…I am enjoying this side of Namjoon…such a intelligent and deep thinking human being!

I'll never be able to express how much Indigo means to me, and how I love every last bit of it, from top to bottom. I love that the styles are different and unexpected. I love that it ranges in emotion. More than anything, I love and respect the courage it takes to be raw, real and honest - to allow yourself the space to tell your story unapologetically. I have always been fascinated by the behind the scenes of projects such as movies, music, etc. So to hear about what went into the making of this album and Namjoons thought process makes me appreciate the album even more. Even though I dont speak Korean I can now feel the emotion of each song after watching this.

This is really fascinating, to have so much background behind each song and to hear all these different perspectives of and around RM - from so many different creatives. Everyone is so well spoken and expresses their ideas so well. Thank you to each and every one for contributing to this album. As with so much of BTS' group and solo content, I love all the layers and how well thought out everything is.

Each song carry stories that were unspoken and unknown till now. Thank you namjoonie for sharing millions of voices that been surpassed and unrecognised. I felt like I am heard and realised need to listen myself before being heard by someone ( yeah FCK TRENDSETTER). I am in early 20s and things aren't easy. I hope will be better adult and I'll live every moments so looking back I won't have mere memories of happiness.

I can't even imagine how hard it mustve been for Joon to have so many bottled up emotions all these years and not being able to express it in his own way. Im glad he finally took the brave step and let those emotions flow out so beautifully. I hope voicing them out makes u feel more at peace know knowing that there are indeed people around the world who might have not walked the same road as you but can still resonate to each and every word of Indigo. This album is such a gift to this world.

Finding out for the first time here that producing wildflower made Docskim reconsider giving up producing was enough to bring me to tears. All these artists who featured have so much respect for him as Kim Namjoon, as a fellow artist, and helped contribute to something so personal to him. I liked a few songs from my first listen through but after watching this I have so much more emotional connection to the album than I ever thought was possible. I just turned 30 in May and the messages in these songs bring me comfort as he intended. Thank you to these musicians and friends of Joon, and thank you Joon for releasing such a great album that will be loved for a very long time.

Apart from his genuine album, I'd watch this interview repeatedly. My heart was melting when he talks about his feelings and deep thoughts. He is one of the geniuses of our time and i wish his warm soft heart will continue inspiring others. Go my 90's baby! Love you!
