Namjoon is a very unique artist. He doesn't make songs following trends just for money and views. He shows himself through his taste in music. he always learns his vocals in singing and also he continues to change in his music which doesn't make us bored to hear it and also with his genius lyrics that's why he is called The King of Kpop or The Father of Kpop 💜
RM every solo music project he puts out is different from the last. His 148 IQ his love of Art and Philosophy his lyricism and his roots as an underground rapper make RM the most experimental, creative artist, highly respected by other artists, producers and musicians. Just don't expect him to repeat himself. Background RM did not mind so much speaking in front of the United Nations 3 times, at least those were his words and his ideas but his government tried to make this artist a diplomat a mouthpiece for the establishment and hes pissed and rebelling. Hes had 10 years of the hardest come up protecting BTS from multiple hate campaigns, death threats industry sabotage and hes had a very difficult 14 months. Multiple hints of a relationship break up. This whole abum is his big rebellion. The brakes are completely off. Hes collaborating with people like San Yawn. RM is a genius at picking collaborations checknout his last Album INDIGO. The result is a seminal masterpiece of an album that defies catagorisation. I love all RMs solo work but RMs dark side is untrammelled genius.
I'd say Koreans can drink like Russians, they can swing it back lol. But drugs I don't think he'd take the chance, illegal in Korea and they don't play - there were performers who were caught and their careers are over, they're banned from ever performing again. The father of Kpop comment you read made me laugh, BTS did a lot to open up Kpop to international audiences but I doubt he'd call himself father, he wasn't born when Kpop started around 89-90. It's pretty specific in Korea because they achieved democracy in 1987, that's when western influences started coming in. Most attribute the start to a guy called Seo Taiji, look for a song called "Come Back Home". There's a 25th anniversary concert where the entire audience is singing along word for word, young and old, and he chose BTS to perform with him. It's delicious! 💜

Name Kim Namjoon Born in 1994 He is BTSs leader, main rapper, composer, songwriter, producer... he has over 220 song copyrights and is the youngest and most credited Idol and a full member of the Korea copyright association He is known for his deep lyrics and moving speeches. Predebut RM, known under the names Runch Randa, Largo, Stealo, and the Nexist in the underground hiphop community was already a prodigy in rap despite being 13years old (he started in the underground scene at 11 years old) impressing other rappers. RunchRanda which basically meant 'I am Runcha', he has said it was inspired by a Maple Story game character he had at the time. He was known to be so good that even older underground rappers in their 20s and 30s didn't wanna battle against him. Also, because of his low-midtone voice, philosophical lyrics and flashy rap skills he gained quite the popularity among hiphop fans. (Jungkook joined the same agency as he had been so impressed the first time he saw RM perform...) Throughout 2008-2010 , RM (Runch Randa or Randa ) was mentioned multiple times by other rappers in their songs mostly complimenting RM or wishing they had skills or fame as him. An example for that is when Zico* made a diss song to Philophon (35yo) who is also a rapper saying "you got your ass handed to you by a 13 yr old Runch" referencing that Philophon already lost to teen Namjoon. @@avlthegawdI think that not smoking is just his style in imbuing his music and he is even afraid of getting a tattoo. There is only one tattoo on his leg, it is just a friendship tattoo with the number 7 written on it.
He smokes cigarettes. Weed is extremely illegal in SK. He could get jail time. He can’t even smoke in a country that weed is legal. He can be arrested in SK for smoking in LA. All of the members drink and yes whiskey is included. RM is that dude I could sit down with and talk to for hours.
LOL I thought so too because this is a total chill high song and I think if it wasn't for the fact that he would be arrested off the plane in South Korea if it came out he even smoked weed in another drugs are extremely illegal if Korean police even found out that he smoked weed while in another country he would be arrested at the airport however he does smoke cigarettes and drink a lot. alcohol is a staple of social society in Korea to the point that public intoxication is considered a mental illness not a crime. When they say he's the father of K-pop it means he's the father of the industry as we know it because he and BTS changed the way things work. Honestly because of BTS kpop isn't just pop anymore.
You should listen to his entire album. RM has 2 mix tapes and 2 solo albums. Definitely check out the rest of Right Place Wrong Person. He release 4 MVs from this album including NUTS. React to Groin if you have not seen it yet. RM drinks. He recently started smoking cigarettes. Indigo is his first official solo album. You might as well go through all albums to see what you are getting. RM is incredible and continues to break out of the kpop category they try to trap him in. Nothing on that album was kpop related.

Hope you're joking about smoking weed...maybe you don't know, but in Korea you go to jail. And you are crucified and your career is over. Seriously. Just a suspect and you go in front of the Court. Many medicines are also forbidden in S. Korea. It's a very serious matter. And BTS are not that kind of people, they don't need that to be creative and laid back.
