I was given this metal detector and asked to make a review of it. It is a pretty good detector for the price. It comes with a nice little hand shovel/pick and a bag. Check it out

I just bought two brand new ones for $100 for the kids for Christmas and buried $300 in silver in the yard. Christmas morning will be a fun morning.

I just got this today. First metal detector so i don't have anything to compare it to, but I really enjoyed it. I had to keep the sensitivity pretty low myself, I don't know how much our rocky soil might affect that. Too high it would just go off constantly. I searched an old 19th century ranch. Didn't find anything of value but found some cool old nails from the early 1800's. It would go down about 4 inches for me. I think there was a couple that it detected deeper, but I only had that shovel that comes with it and the ground was both rocky and frozen and I simply couldn't actually dig down much deeper. I'll bring my e tool next time. But I had fun. It and I found stuff underground that was recovered so at least it seems to work!

That’s great . Ya it was a pretty good machine for the price I felt. I felt like it went about 6 or so inches for me in the ground I was in so not to bad. Ya a good digging tool is really important. I use predator shovels they are beasts. Good luck out there and hope you find some good stuff in the future . Also get ready to buy more detectors haha it’s addicting .

You didn't use the pinpoint function in the right way..... Press the pinpoint button next where you expect the "find" is and then go over IT. In all directions. Where is the highest beep your find Will be.

you are one of the few that actually thinks reviewing a detector is to unbox it and use it in the field on the same video lol GG only thing that could make these kinds of video better was if you went over the same path as you detected with this detector with a more expensive known good one to see if you missed out on something due to its limitations of being a budget detector. other than that! THUMBS UP

I would just keep it on the all metal mode or i believe there was a jewelry mode. The signal is probably going to be loud and clear if its right on the surface.

I would go with the Garrett pro Pointer, it’s very solid and works great. As for a hand spade I would go with lesche hand digger. It’s really solid and sharp for cutting light objects. has anyone tested this detector on wet or damp ocean sand?

Not that I know of but I don’t think it would preform well on wet sand but might be alright in the dry stuff . Salt water has a lot of minerals in it and will probably make it go crazy

Nice little detector Brandon. Probably would be better off buying a Bounty Hunter if you need a cheap detector. It would even be cheaper!

Jerry Dineen I have only had one bounty hunter and it was ok. This one I was really impressed by the pinpoint feature.
