I see ads for @RMSBeautybrand on Instagram all the time. I finally broke down and ordered an assortment of products to see how they look on mature skin. Not sponsored or PR, I purchased all products myself.
So happy I came across you today reviewing rms beauty. I’m a big fan of rms since I started seeing Rose-Marie Swift, the founder and makeup artist, on Facebook. Rose-Marie is a hoot and the love she has for her products is infectious. I’m so thrilled that her products did not disappoint me. I’m 70, live in Florida, have pretty good combo skin with yes an occasional zit. I have both her light and medium radiance serums and love them. I sometimes mix the 2 together using more of the light than the medium and I mix them on the back of my hand. That warms them up and it’s easier to spread on your face. I put the light serum under my eyes. You need jut a drop or 2 of serum for your whole face. FYI, living in Florida I do put on a sunscreen before I put on the serums even though they include a sunscreen, I still don’t trust the strength of sunscreens in my makeup. I wait a few minutes for the sunscreen to dry before I apply the serums. The serums do exactly what you said, over time they meld into your skin and have a great blurring affect. I have some sun spots so I’ll use some concealer on them, powder then blush and my face is done. Now I used this 2 weeks ago when up north in Pennsylvania when my skin was dryer and it looked great there too. The concealer is okay, I warm it up between my fingers and it blends better under my eyes. The Hydra Powder blush is a powder to cream that is lovely with a hint of glow. I have 4 of them and I use Crystal Slipper as a bronzer. I think the lipstick you put on is a great color for and along with the red cream blush. As with the concealer I would warm up the cream blush between my fingers before application I think it would have blended better. I’m so happy with her serums I don’t think I need to buy her foundation at least for now. Sorry I went on so long but I’ve been into makeup since I was 15 and these serums and blushes are the real deal.

Thanks for the review! I had already ordered the lip to cheek and will order some of her lip product- It looks wonderful on you. I think it does look softer for more mature faces, and easily blends out on the skin. I find Rose Marie to be a very interesting woman with great ideas.
Thanks Lisa! I've e been very tempted, see her ads all the time. I'm over 60 so I'm not sure these would settle well, lots of fine lines etc .. maybe the cream blush?
@@LisaMonique thanks for the reply. I don't mind light coverage, I just struggle with under my eyes mostly. Lots of lines.. I try a bit of moisturizer with my concealer but can't quite get the right combo. I want them to look a little brighter and awake!!
I’ve been straddling the fence on trying this brand. I really started leaning toward trying the Buriti Bronzer, then you flashed that quad and now I’m sold! [goes to place order immediately]
The Lancôme makes it. You don’t need any of the other stuff but the Lancôme! I’m over 50 I will never stop using the dual powder compact - this stick looks as good!!
I really like the foundation stick. The powder compact which I used forever in my 20s, didn’t last as long and now I don’t really carry with a purse, just my phone with a drivers license and credit card in the back, so I can’t carry it with me for touchups.
I would like to try them in fair complexion foundation colors I like rhe palet pretty res peach and champagne colors! You look pretty! Hope the HOA meeting is successful and not stressful 😊

You have great brows! I got a decent brow thing going with a wax pencil ELF, then brow liner, then NYX brow gel. I still hate doing my brows tho....haha Also, for eye liner, my latest method was an accident, when mac charcoal eye shadow broke. I just picked a black eye shadow from another random palette and somehow it stays on so much long than all my many liner pencils! should have done it long ago.

Good question. The sunscreen is glowier, I think I prefer the TRINNY BFF cream for anytime wear. I really like the lip glosses though, I wish they had some more neutral or less vibrant shades. For that reason I think the Trinny lips 2 cheek are more versatile for me, just a better shade range that I would put on both my cheeks and lips. I did order some of RMS powder products, so I have order number 2 still coming!
