Well Norman 6 years on and still totally amazing footage I was surprised by how much is still there , at least the scrap thieves haven’t got to it And the scooter is the only way to see it otherwise you would be swimming for weeks it is so big 😍👍👍🇦🇺
Neil, The poor condition apart from her initial damage as a result of torpedoes is due to severe corrosion and the effects of groundswell on the ship from Atlantic storms it is a testament to how well she was built. Other ocean liners in the area in deeper waters and sunk during the same period ( WWI) are basically flat apart from boilers and engines.
@@NormanWoods56 Hi Norman.... Just for a bit of clarity, I pulled my initial comment asking about the Justicia damage so if anyone is wondering what I wrote, well I took it down as I didn't want to look moany. This really is excellent footage as I say. Vis is incredible considering you're 200' down? I've done a bit of standard diving dress stuff recently to get a better idea of the job the Laurentic's gold divers endured and I'm blown away by the state of Justicia. 6 torpedoes I think in the end. It's first rate filming. Top respect
@@AncientAbsWisdom well considering the video is justicia and I replied referencing the Audacious, I am glad I was corrected. No issues with that at all. Cheers.
