The Lusitania sank very fast, taking only 18 minutes. It, along with the empress of Ireland, were some of the fastest sinkings. (The empress of Ireland took only 14 minutes to sink.)
The animation is good. But the sinking is incredibly inaccurate. Lusitania was hit by 1 torpedo only, seconds later suffered a explosion (not from a torpedo). It listed from 15 to 25 degrees during it's sinking. It sank with all funnels intact and disappearing last.
@@onueonue oh I also forgot to mention. The list from 15 to 25 degrees was on the starboard side. It sank with the 4 funnels disappearing last because it suddenly began even out in the head trim when the water was reaching the 2nd funnel.
There was an error: 1 The Lusitania was hit by a torpedo on the starboard side. One area was extinguished in Captain 's room. 2 After Lusitania was hit by a torpedo, another explosion erupted, presumably a coal explosion. Because Lusitania had never carried weapons, only Mauretania carried weapons 3 in the last minute of Lusitania. There are Lusitania's masts and funnels still above the water. not stern And Lusitania is not perpendicular to the final 4 Only 6 of the 48 lifeboats can be launched. 5 There should be a scene where some lifeboats are crushed by propellers. or the scene where lifeboats capsize, halve, or sank with 6 After being hit by a torpedo, the ship tilts strongly, making it difficult to launch lifeboats, and those lifeboats often capsize because the Lusitania tilt makes it impossible. 7 funnels 1, 3 and 4 didn't fall, the 2nd funnel fell. 8 U Boat 20 has only fired one torpedo at Lusitania, not two.
Lusitania was torpedoed once not twice. After the torpedo strike a few seconds later there was a second explosion maybe an ammunition detonation. But good animation though.
lusitania was struck with one or two torpedoes, but most people think the second explosion was due to mutition. i agree with the fact and disagree with the single torpedo.
This is inaccurate because the ship tilted to the starboard (right) and went down funnels last seen, also it’s funnels stayed intact until the last moment

It’s historically accurate, red is its main civilian colours. However, during the war, ships were often given black funnels and blacked out windows to prevent light from leaking out and give the enemy their position, thus making the ship more concealed
