So well done you can imagine being on it and what a proud ship she was, especially at night with the lights.

Good, honest review. Looks like a must have. The number one thing I hate in any modeling is painting especially when many different colors are involved and you have to clean the brushes. This is entirely too much painting for me to truly enjoy building but I enjoyed watching you do it.

Yes i agree, too much painting in this one and a lot of the white... I hate that too but the result is always pays you back!

I have to agree about the cardboard parts. Other wise mine came out better than I could hope for. Your series was a great help.

Your hull and decks are quite well done John. This was an enjoyable video series. May I suggest waxing or burning the fuzzies on your rigging lines to improve them?

John, Ne maîtrisant pas très bien l’Anglais, pouvez-vous me donner quelques exemples de votre examen sur RMS Titanic par OcCre. C’est tout de même une très belle maquette, surtout avec toutes ces illuminations. Dommage qu’OcCre n’ai pas pensé de proposer un kit LEDs pour cette éclairage. A very beautiful model and a must have one! The only think i didn't like was the compressed cardboard and i would like a little more detail at the windows of the upper decks, not just a vinyl sticker.

I'm determined to build a Titanic model with LED but worry it will be too tricky for a first timer like me. Does Occre sell it with the LED lights? While researching I see the lego Titanic looks amazing too, but doubt experienced modellers would take lego seriously.

If you have never build a wooden model before don't make the Titanic to be your 1st. It is not a beginners model and you will make many mistakes. That's how you will learn but it will cost you and you won't build it again. No OcCre doesn't sell a LED kit along. It is not that hard to throw on LEDs, you only need the basic knowledge to connect them. Try to begin with a simple model and when you feel ready we will be here to assist you :)

@@JohnsWoodenShips Thank you very much. Even though I just want a Titanic model in particular, I suppose there is so much knowledge and experience required for a success. I saw an Amita model that is even longer. Occre, Amita or who knows what else?

@@JohnsWoodenShips I've found one by a company called 'Trumpeter' about 1.3m (2m a little too big for me). It comes with LED too... but I really like the one you built.
