i use pro Honda 10w30 and 40 (usually 40) in my bikes. just make sure u get good brand oil and that it is motorcycle oil. it lubes the clutch and gears better . think on a car the oil is only lubing the engine not the transmission , a dirt bike is all in one so the oil needs to be very good.
