Sotion motor runs very low KVA, better than qs but much cheaper than others. May find it improves sprocket choices. Not sure what Kv you’re using. Slightly smaller efficient tyres massively help with power consumption and heat. Maybe drop rear tyre size? Big tyres float, small cut. Big isn’t always best. The huge 22s arnt really suited to these (huge sag, weight, cutting frame) A smaller p42A or expensive 45b with 60Ah will give same range as sag is much less. We’ve been doing a similar project (on/off) for two years. It’s a balance between cost and result. Keep up the good work

The way I see it. You buy a (UK Pounds): Stark, great out of the packet but no battery swap and limited spares, big cost £11k Ultra Bee, loads of parts but needs a huge upgrade (controller, battery, motor) £12.5K Something like this. Proven suss, frame. 3-5k battery, controller, motor kit £5-10k We’re hoping to to under 8K

Have you tried the new sprocket yet, 64T ?, what power and how did it rip (Top end and acelleration)

I would suggest two motor options, qs 180 or the new qs 165 60h that's coming out. Those should put down serious power

I think your chain is too tight. when your suspension wears out, your chain becomes much tighter and jerks in the shaft of the gear = kaput
