Ja, das waren noch Zeiten als RNI, Veronica und Caroline auf unseren "DDR-Weltempfängern" ertönten. Ich lebte damals in Rathenow bei Berlin. Die QSL-Karten habe ich bis heute noch !!!!

I remember RNI goes DX great station

I used a transistor radio and by adjusting the angle I was able to cut out the interference from the jamming signal, here in Birmingham UK.

Lucky you! I wish that was ME!

It was terrible, but only the rear end of the ship was damaged. They were back on the air the next day. The damage was repaired at sea.

To Bob H. My God, you're right! Quite without being in any way INSTALLED, or CONNECTED, the fluorescent tube the man on deck is holding, DOES light up, because of the powerful radiation, (or whatever) from the aerial mast! Greenpeace used to say that if you stand underneath a power pylon, a fluorescent tube THERE would ALSO light up!

I have already mentioned that this lady has the best voice of any DEEJAY, in my opinion! Years ahead of her time, now at last we DO have women DEEJAY!
