Standing tall in the heartland of our nation, this visionary has emerged as a beacon of hope and innovation in the field of agriculture. Born and raised amidst the verdant fields, she developed a passion for the land, a passion that grew into an unbreakable bond with the earth and its bountiful offerings. She is a professional engineer, a post graduate in psychology who hails from Kavital taluk of Raichur District. She rejected the job offer at Infosys and take up farming.
She stepped up to break the barrier that an educated woman can’t cultivate. Her innovative idea of integrated farming influenced the agriculture sector immensely as she perceived Agriculture as a business rather than a profession. She has actively participated in international conferences and forums, sharing her insights and expertise with the global agricultural community.
Her remarkable achievements and contributions to the field of agriculture have earned her recognition from prestigious organizations and governments alike. She is the recipient of ‘Best Farmer Award’ from UAS Raichur in 2013, Gold award from ICRISAT in 2014, Kisan Jyoti Award from Shivashakti Peetha IIkal 2015, National Innovative Farmer in the year 2016, and The Best Horticulture Farmer Award. The difficult road she traversed has led her to this beautiful destination.
