I'm afraid winter weather made its presence known in this video and not only did I get battered by the wind and rain, but the sound quality is far from ideal! However, if you're facing a similar, grim forecast and wondering whether to get out on the bank or not, then take courage and inspiration from all the bites and fish I enjoyed on Harris Lake! It was my first visit and it seems like a great fishery (and tackle shop) in Surrey - I hope to return soon for another go in easier conditions. Thanks. Shame about the weather and the sound but sometimes you need a session like that to make you appreciate better conditions! Hope to get back there soon to see if I can find and tempt some better ones.

I love this idea of traditional type stock of fish without carp ! It should be pushed by nra especially regarding crusians and rudd ! . , brilliant video 👍 im thinking of driving down from lancs for a crusian pb , up here 3lbs a pipe dream!

Could be worth it in summer! £8 per day for one rod. Think there are plenty of 2s from what I’ve been told or read. The other lake is apparently more skimmers and bream, plus there’s a beginner’s pond right by the tackle shop and a member’s only lake at the back. John, bet you were the only one there🤔. My old man loved fishing in the rain, he said that after serving in India & North Africa he welcomed every drop. Great stuff John, Marsh Farm is 👌

I've just had a double take when you said you went to Byfleet and got some good information out of Grumpy Phill. The other lake does some good bream fishing.Its a bit peggy but in the right place I had 16 last week between 1 1/2lb and 5lb. Good fun when you can't get on the Thames

That's top fishing. I've seen a video of the place in summer and it's unrecognisable for the winter version I saw last weekend.
