Road 96 is one of the most heartfelt walking sim type games out there with actually cause and effect choices i mean other than the ending and as such this is the first game.ive been legitimately excited for in a few years

Fun fact for those who dont know. Kaito isn't a chatacter made for the game, he is acutally the protag from the fist game game digixart made called Lost in Harmony, which also had similar dreamscape music thing, even the part where he was reaching for aya is a reference to the cover art. I recommend giving it a try if your interested in that stuff

I don't think so, Road 96 and the prequel took place in 1996 and in LiH the characters use Smartphones which makes the game takes place in modern times

They mention Aya at the start of the game though, so maybe it’s a prequel to both games? Where the “cannon” ending is Kaito leaving with his parents and Zoe taking the files. However by the time LIH takes place Kaito and Aya should be in their mid to late 20’s depending on their age 15-18 would make them; 26-29 since the first smartphone was made in 07’ which means this is more of an Easter egg rather than a cohesive timeline. Or it can just be that the progression of technology is slightly more advanced in that universe than ours

@@AnekoGT Yeah, the first game had cool scenarios and outcomes and random encounters. Some players simply didn't have certain powers needed in a scenario because of the randomness which made it cool but with this game somehow they turned that cool concept into a story with 1 main character and then mini games at every possible turn that are just copies of some mobile games...

The songs in crazy taxi were all done by The Offspring and Bad Religion. I think the songs by The Offspring in it were from their album Ixnay On The Hombre iirc. It's so weird though, when I hear the songs I don't think of the album, I genuinely just start seeing clear as hell images of Crazy Taxi in my head 🤣
