What’s fantastic about this game is the fact that each teen can cross the border differently. I had two teens cross out of four. One went through a process where he sorta got what’s like a work visa, and the other crossed through the mountain near the peak that was bombed by the Brigades. Besides that, the game is INCREDIBLY detailed with its stories that intertwine. Like, each person you come across usually meets another character that you’ll come across later on, or you already met before. Not to mention THE GRAPHICS. THE GRAPHICS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Every single view you manage to get in this game is bound to be a beautiful one, and if you’re lucky; the music that plays alongside it makes the whole view feel even better.

Should I get it? Call me a psycho but I wish it was rated M, like hitchhiking can be dangerous, it’d be cool if you could kill or be killed. Heck maybe you can I haven’t checked, but the T rating makes me think it may be a bit tame for me considering the concept.

That game is great! It's totally supposed to be Mexico ( or Central America) but with Western characters as to put you in their shoes. The News Reporter being a big celebrity is totally a Latin American thing. Although there are many others things in the game where you could see it being Syria ( or the Middle East) or even North Korea.

Played this with my roommates last semester right before we all had to split up as the campus was shutting down for summer break. This game was too real for us as it made us realize the differing paths, we are all on, kind of started getting upsetty spaghetti towards the end.

This game is a masterpiece. When I finished it I legitimately cried. It has such an amazing story and soundtrack. You really feel connected to the characters you meet along the way. Even the ones that don't have a name. It's incredible

I would always talk about this game since it was genuinely a masterpiece of a choice-based game. Though there are a couple of aspects I'm not a fan of, it is overall an amazing and unique game that could hopefully inspire some more games like it.

Really the only thing I think it needed was the ability to replay any scenario you've already played after you beat the game, I would've loved to replay the challenge sections you're not supposed to beat over and over until I'm godlike at them, and play my favorite moments again and again

Yea there were parts I didnt even get to finish and that's what sucked. They added so many secrets like horror aspects to the game with supernatural occurrences, but I think it just adds to the curiosity of the game and wanting to replay it again

Yeah mainly the choices are bare bones. You are forced to go with the story you cant disagree with characters or stay neutral in conversation as much as you try. There is but an illusion of choice

I remember seeing this game in an indie world direct, and when it released, I bought it. I was absolutely in shock at how good it was. Engaging story, realistic characters in this insane world, and scarily relevant political messaging. It felt almost like outer wilds, where there's those moments where seemingly separate strands come together and you realize how it all connects and are in awe

This video inspired me to get the game, and I loved it! On my first playthrough, which was on the day I'm writing this comment, I got 5 teens across the border. One was arrested at Road 96, and the other was killed rescuing Zoe. All in all, great game!

You can always play "Stray". I just completed it. You've got zero choices- you're just a lil cat being told what to do. Plus you can explore and knock stuff over. It's worth a shot. It's somewhat of a short game but I really liked it.

This was such a fun game. I think I only got two of my characters dead, which includes the finale run. My first run I climbed the mountain, second run I snuck into a truck, third run I became a boarder guard, fourth run is where I died helping another teen, and the fifth run I snuck through the underground tunnels. The sixth run I chose to stay and fight instead of escaping.
