Female solo traveller i ve been there many times, daring the same stunt, worst was when my dad passed away and was rushing home for the funeral..about time the land owner secede compensation claims and make way to development,.. it's been too too long that stretch is in that condition..

Public loss, when govt was about to make that road wider and better, the people of that area started erecting temporary house with tin sheets that also without window . That area is widely known as compensation area

I dont under why PWD Department are doing..... Under PWD their is Road & Bridge ministry and what this ministry is for. All the construction works are given to contractor and to individual.

Why wait for government i think the sumo driver need to do some work say since its the road of tuensang,kongleng mon and mokokchung and some parts of sumi...so the sume driver should organise a charity work with a timeline of one day and the money collected should be used in constructing the road its not a lomg streched maybe with 3-5 lakh the sume driver can complete it...jist my option though
