A few conditions: 1. After 'I screams' we must all then 'screams for ice creams.' 2. I will need this recorded so I can check, after the 'cream'-ation (heh, I just got that) that Wile E. Coyote was, indeed cream-ated with me. 3. This can only happen after my demise of natural causes. 4. "Natural causes" is very vague and open to interpretation.

I will attend, but against my will and only to see things through as a proper witness. After ensuring this deal has gone through, then eating ice cream, I shall be released into a desert in wearing nothing but a Wile E. Coyote costume, surviving off Amazon orders and consuming the freshest of Road Runners. I will be captured by trappers, filmed while forced to fight against other predatory animals for my own survival, until police find the video, storm the abode of my captors, and nurse me back to health. By then, I'll be ill of mind and have to be rehabilitated in a zoo, eventually rereleased into the wild nearby, where I can eventually find clothes, take off my Wile E. Coyote costume, enter the premises of Niel Henne's lawyer, and sign the deed saying I bore witness to his cremation.

I had one and a bugs bunny one then my parents threw out most of my stuffed animals one year, those were two of them. I still like looney tunes as an adult, I think it's actually funnier now, especially anything Bugs is in.

The Mexican Animator, I always read Speedy Gonzalez as a sort of comedic take on the conflict between Pancho Villa and the U.S. With Sylvester being a stand in for the U.S.

Speedy was also in that Bugs Bunny cartoon where he lives with Daffy and it's fairly slice of life. Can't remember what the show's called. He wasn't a major character, but he was still in it which leads me to believe Arin has been somewhat informed (or completely wrong, which he does at times).

And I kinda feel bad for you. I didn't start to own shitty games until I got my PSX. My SNES games were all pretty much decent at worst, and I never followed any reviews.

TheFifthWill I mean, I had good games for my SNES too, just like I had both good and shitty games for my NES. Because like you, I didn’t read reviews (heck, I couldn’t even read until the N64/PSX era, nor did I even know gaming mags existed), so all I had to go on was the back of the game box. And when you could only afford pre-owned games in the $20 range, there was a pretty good chance that what you got was a pretty shitty game; they where cheap for a reason, after all. Sometimes you where lucky and got quality stuff like Street Fighter 2 or NBA Jam. Other times you got Mohawk & Headphone Jack or Road Runner’s Death Valley Ralley...

Crimson Reaper Yeah, it’s not good. They DID nail the graphics and presentation, though. That part is legit really good, and they should be commended for it (the fact that it looked almost like a cartoon in my eyes is what made me buy it). Of course it’s all for nothing since the gameplay and level design is shit, but credit where credit is due.

I could only enjoy this game as a kid with Game Genie codes, and it was still hard.

@@CheeseBlaster Sonic isn't about running really fast, though. The game was about platforming, with the key inspiration being people who mastered Mario 1, and could bolt through the entire game. The levels(although 1 isn't as good at pulling off this idea), were designed so once you knew how to play a level, and had a good grasp of Sonic, you could run through the entire level without stopping. Allowing you to get back to where you died a lot quicker than in other games of the time.

OMG I never knew that! Thank GOD they kept going, this is like me and my grandpa's favorite thing to watch when I was a kid. TONS of good memories despite it being just VHS tapes of like the same 20 or so episodes of it. Also Foghorn Leghorn was the other one of the Looney Toons staples we loved. As a kid you miss a TON of what he's actually saying, but listening back to him as an adult you realize just how absurd a lot of what he says is.

some of the earlier cartoons were... kinda racist... but even then not cringingly so, and it wasn't really *speedy* that was racist... it was more the other background mice that were racist depictions of Mexican people. but even then it is pretty tame for the 50's.

prince apoopoo game grumps is always sorta best to watch when there is no emotional investment involved. I think that why let’s plays like the Philips CD-I dead rising and sonic will always be my favorite

I replayed it very recently and, even though I know they'd suck at it, I'd love to see their reactions to how bizarre and dark it is. It's a really charming game, despite the finicky controls and camera.

Plus, if I remember correctly, in the junkyard level, you can see the cartridge for Mickey's Mousecapades, so thst could give us the return of Arin's knock-off AVGN voice.

I felt that both Arin and Dan felt a bit more salty than usual. This game doesn’t seem to be that bad yet that still try to shit all over just because it’s a licensed game and those are known to suck most of the time.

I used to play this game as a kid on my SNES. The controls are horrible. Arin is usually a pretty poor representation of how to correctly play a game, but this time a lot of what was happening was the game's fault. The jumping is floaty and you have little control over the direction once you're airborne, your momentum makes it feel like you're Mario on ice everywhere you go, if you hit an angle going the opposite direction you're moving you change direction and speed downwards automatically, and since the Roadrunner sprite has his legs wide open during his jumps it's hard to know where the hitbox for his feet are when you try to platform. This is all in addition to poorly constructed levels where sometimes you go fast and sometimes you don't. It's like a -poorly designed- modern Sonic game. There's also a time limit, because fuck you. At least the boss battles were pretty neat; you actually had to get to and peck at specific weak points, and it took quite a bit of thought to know where those points were and how to safely destroy them.

TheKrossRoads Not sure if it was this one or another Road Runner game, but there was one where the boss battles were preceded by a blueprint showing weak points to hit.
