@bliglum The front facia was damaged while offloading the car from the car hauler during transport to the track, it was stated in the print material from SLP.
The little thing at the top of the grill, blue chevy badge, and the rims are the highlights. The other body parts are cool along with the new grill. As for the power, well, It's the first camaro I've seen that looks good and makes cornering look effortless at the same time.
@MaxwellReviresco This car also cost over 110 0000 an insane amount of money for a camaro .Better to get a real zl1 from g.m and do a few upgrades it will be just as fast.
well as they say no replacement for displacement V8 is strong already without any power adders and also gets better fuel mileage and is more reliable than those stressed out: turbo 4s and most v6s.
It looks incomplete where the hood meets the front bumper. I think i is actually. Like they didn’t know how to remove that stock mounting thing and just left it
@andrenj1970 No doubt about that. V8 IMO is the perfect amount of cylinders. Best sound, looks the coolest and if balanced and driven right do truly use less fuel and produce more power. Gotta love V8s, and the LS7 is my favorite.
Although I made no reference to hp, yes u are right there is about 200hp diff. in favor of the RWD, MT pony car that does not have DSG, a real LC, AWD, or ATTESA system that uses dual drive shafts all of which help make the GTR nearly unbeatable to 60mph. HP doesn't mean ish unless u have traction, which is obvious b/c the camaro plays catchup in the 1/4. Just like they were saying "mount on some slicks..& u could be in the 10's easily" which I would deem another version of LC for a RWD car ;-)
While its alot of money but the straight line performance is in ZR1 territory. Usually the tuner cars like this in the 1/4 mile -0-60 is alot slower than what you would think it should be. Ofcourse my $ would go to the ZR1.
@quocvbien im pretty sure it can the 2012 z06 carbon(505hp) can keep up with the gtr(535) being only slower by a few tenths which is probably due to driver error, because the driver didnt have traction control on so it can keep up will i play 100k for a camaro? hell no but if it was lets say around 80ish k then yeah
@7stefan7vn Well technical the GTR does 3.1 sec w/o 1 foot of rollout(insideline) In this video they didn't say if 3.2sec was w/ or w/o rollout. 0-60times have almost nothing to do w/ a car except useable traction. Then the 1/4 mile in a GTR is 11.1@124 while this Camaro runs it in 11.1@129. So catch the Camaro anywhere except luckily side by side @ red light & this Camaro would walk a GTR. Then there is the spirt of a MT&RWD not a DSG&AWD,this car goal is built around character not on paper #'s
@arion45 man i know that price is crazy but i was up at a shop in nc and one was in to get some work done on it and i was talkin to the guy and hes been offered almost 150,000 for it and the offers keep coming cause of how rare they are
80k of aftermarket stuff on a 35k car? That is absolutely NUTS. Not saying its a slow car or anything but it needs some chassis strengthening, at least a roll bar.
Actually, considering the amount of Camaros on the road nowadays, and the fact this car doesn't really look that different, probably yeah, it would blend into traffic quite nicely. 5th gen Camaros are about as common as Honda Accords where I live. There are a lot of riced out Camaros and Mustangs out there that look a lot meaner. Unless you know what you're looking at, you'd never expect this car to have 750hp. Lets face it, the average American male doesn't know shit about cars nowadays.
I'm not trying to stir up an argument or anything but the ZL1 hardly "crushes" the GT500 in any way besides POSSIBLY braking due to the GT500's brake fade. I mean I don't care what car it is, 600+ hp= a pretty damn good car. Besides, a few years ago wasn't there a 700+ hp super snake? I think it was over 700 hp and it didn't cost over $100,000. I mean I agree that calling ANY LS engine old technology is dumb, but There is no way the GT500 is bad in any way, or gets crushed.
@jsiszero $110 for a ZR1? Might as well buy a used Ford GT, or a used 911 Turbo....or a new GTR or Viper ACR. Your right, but you have to realize not everyone cares extensively about the opportunity cost of buying a car, meaning not everyone worries about what they could have purchased instead. Otherwise, everyone would drive themselves crazy at the thought of purchasing the wrong car!

@Itchhhh And these guys have some badass drivers too! Insideline (shitty drivers) got 4.2 0-60 in it. Insideline cannot drive, these guys on the other hand is like MotorTrend, drive like hell. It's amazing how they launch it so well!
@MaxwellReviresco This Camaro is also a modified car with a big v8, a GTR has a smaller engine thats capable of a lot by doing a little and you just cannot beat Japanese reliability. Also look at the whole Skyline history, these guys know what they are doing and its not just straight line racing as it is with most muscle cars.
