If you put the shifter in "4" position, it will be in sport transmission mode and shifts faster and reacts faster at throttle.

there's a button that should be under the a/c adjustments that says S EDC = sport electronic dampening control, That's your sport mode. the A/M by the shifter will keep it in whatever gear u use for steptronic when it displays M on the dash, it stands for manual.

When you put it in the forth gear it illuminates the s for sport mode on the gage cluster.
