Taken on 13th July 2015 at 10pm, driven with 2WD Suzuki Swift.
It is not an F road, half of this road is paved, then it is a dirt road, OK for 2WD, just the very end is a little bit steep and bumpy.
F206 (4x4 only) turns right in the middle of the way to canyon (see a photo at the end of the video or here lnk.pruskova.com/150713_Fjadrargljufur_road3.jpg), don't turn right, continue straight up the hill and then down the hill to the canyon parking place.
There are nice new restrooms at the parking place.
The canyon is amazing! really worth the stop, be sure to go to the very end of it :)
(sorry for the lower quality of the video, rainy and too dark..., improved in postprocess, hope it helps somebody anyway to get a glimpse of how this road looks like)

Thank you for sharing this! It's one thing to read comments about the condition of the road, but seeing it for yourself is very helpful.

I was in an SUV and was taking the last part of this road a little fast I guess or just basically unluck and got a flat tire! These are sharp volcanic rocks, so just stay on the more worn parts of the road! Lucky for us there was a Michelin dealer about 7 miles up the road at the intersection near the gas station! So safe travels!!
