I cancelled my discovery+ when Magnolia only posted the first episodes of their shows. Got tired of spending the money. Would have enjoyed watching ALL of the shows. It’s like opening a store but not having any product.
I find it ironic that the Gaines don’t let their children watch television, but buy a network and make it a pay to watch channel. Greed. Let’s not leave anything decent on free tv.
They don't own it completely. Warner Brothers co-owns it. Exactly what the ownership split % is...that's not mentioned anywhere, but I guarantee WB is the majority owner and are calling the shots. As for the Gaines not letting their kids watch TV despite being part owner of MN, I guarantee there are executives of certain corporations that don't allow their kids to use their products. I haven't had a soft drink since 2016 and if I was an executive of say Coca-Cola I wouldn't allow my kids to drink that garbage. If other people want to drink it, be my guest, but I would never touch that stuff again or let my kids drink it.
