I wish more of our people would return to our original beliefs and ways of the Motherland. I wrote about Sankofa in my first book I published in 2020. I'm so elated you've named this album that. Black people are a tribal rhythmic people ancestrally. So it just means so much to me as a fan, a Black woman, a music lover, and an African spiritualist that you incorporated this term from our motherland as the namesake of your next project. Ase'!
