I was so scared watching that. I have been there years ago, and I was thinking of returning. I didn't know a bridge was gone and that you had to do a water crossing. Shocking. Do you think my stock 2015 Acura RDX could make it? I think, no. You treat your K9 like royalty!
It could...it will be a little low but take the route they did dont panic and punch the throttle....you are low enough you will likely feel a bit of sideways movement down stream but all in all that's a very mild crossing. Always try to keep your nose up river on a 45. The water will help push you across on a 45 and your vehicle will keep that momentum going with tires turning and chewing through the rock.
What are you using for a mattress in the back when you sleep? Also do you fit with the door being closed? I’m 5’9, should be good. I hear anyone over 6 feet has to sleep diagonally.
