Believe me, I have (i think) 2100 times on 3x3 cstimer and my average dropped from 18 to 15 max, I think training look ahead is even MORE effective than just doing solves over and over again, even tho that's exactly what I do. Btw full oll and eficient f2l are things I think (watching your solves on road to sub 20) you should improve.
If you could see any OG cubetuber, that doesn't make videos anymore, make videos again, who would you want to see? Id like to see CrazyBadCuber, and RedKB
Literally just learning look ahead and getting good at it on big cubes could Legit drop your time to sub-1. It’s hard, and it will take practice. At the same time, it’ll be worth it.
Hey what’s up dude. I’m an adult with a full time job, family etc, and I average around 18s on 3x3. I should’ve commented this on your 3x3 posts so my b lol but this is what I’ve done to help me over roughly 5 years. Learn a handful of oll/pll, somehow manage to turn quickly and do a ton of solves..make sure some of them aren’t timed so you can watch what you’re doing and how the cube looks to ,earn to anticipate certain cases so you can go right into executing an alg. Good luck.
Question: do you know how to solve any other wca event other than the NxN? Also, I can’t remember if this was asked, but do you have any other hobbies? Chess clock
Sliding timer starts are a technique that got really controversial after yiheng wang used it on a 2x2 wr avg, where he really quickly instead of releasing his hands to start the timer he slided them in order to late the timer start in a way that can only be spotted on frame by frame analises. It got controversial because it's obviously not allowed but dnfing it would just make him stop recording and keep using without proof. Do you agree or not with sliding tomer starts?
Additional fact: because of sliding, he actually got NEGATIVE PICK UP TIME on one of the solves (only possible if turning the cube while timer not running)
