Everybody raves about the powder blue, and with good reason. I love it too, but I do miss those old Charger colors. When I do SS, I'm most comfortable playing as an undersized (I'm short) dual threat QB because I have the most control over the game at that position as well as it being the surest path to the Hall of Fame.
If you want to play a superstar with supersim Madden 09 for the ps2 is exactly the same as previous maddens on ps2 in terms of superstar mode, but has supersim. So you could potentially look at that for the future.
All of the drills for RBs, sure they're All-Pro but they're pretty easy all things considered. I also found out that picking a father who's described as a scatback basically gives u 95+ speed and acceleration
How do you become a first round pick in 06? II wasn't aware of any method other than picking your parents. Are you talking about importing a player from NCAA? Also you can set it so that the CPU Sims plays you're not in. Unfortunately they hadn't invented super simming yet so you have to sit through all the plays.
Idk if I'm the only one, but I'd rather see him play RB on offense. That's where he's always been the best. Wonky play calls from the CPU are something that comes with the territory.
Yo! Saw you're going to play offense in this series too. PS2 Madden 09 and NCAA 09 introduced supersim into Road to Glory and this Hall of Fame mode. Made the quality of life much better than older madden/ncaa games when playing long careers. Hall of Fame mode is also the exact same in 09 as 07. Wanted to share in case you get tired of playing both sides. Thanks for the content!
PS2 09 for both introduced it. Both back covers of the games even have it highlighted as a new feature. It’s great if you like playing careers similar to current gen modes
When picking parents I always go hall of fame dad and sprinter for mom. I had a 97speed center doing this lol. I used to exclusively play corner and safety. Back when I thought at any moment puberty would kick in and I would sprout up even tho I was 17 I still thought I’d go from 5’11 to 6’3 in one summer
Made a WR in NCAA 07. Did 4 years at FSU. Broke records. Guy was a stud. Got drafted 2nd round to the Falcons. Then my PS3 YLOD’ and I never got to finish his career.
I bought an original Xbox a couple years ago just for this mode, to transfer the college athlete to the pros and just play. Madden doesn't realize there 15 year old titles have people still buying whole systems.. meanwhile they shit on new madden gamers every year 😂😭
Now if you're playing as a defender and you make good plays in practice does that actually make the rating go down? Because I thought the way practice worked in this game was the team got points for yards and touchdowns and that's it.
