Hi Sydney Just showing some appreciation for your faith, talent and class. You are an all around winner and a true role model. May the Lord continue to bless you immensely 💯💖
I’m so proud of you. You’ve just earned yourself a spot in history amongst the greats! You’ll be known to all as the Epic Sydney McLaughlin! You deserve all the happiness and glory that’s coming your way. Cheers, amiga!!
The Folks from USA have fallen in love with you girl! this was amazing that this was the regime for a World record hurdler and a Icon in Felix who is such a great person. Being trained by the legendary Bob Kersee out on the mean streets of LA? LOL except it's for real. Go Sydney and we wish you Delila and Athing nothing but the best in the future of Womans track!
Coach: Run Faster! Sydney: This is as fast as I can go. Coach: There's a car right behind you!!! (Sydney speeds up) Now we know how Sydney got so fast. She's afraid of cars! 😂😂😂
I remember plenty of people talking about a sprint group that sometimes trains on the streets near San Vicente and 4th, but I never went over there, because I was concerned about inhaling too much carbon monoxide and brake dust from passing vehicles. We always went to any available high school with a large grass field for this type of work, or to that big sand hill in Manhattan Beach. West LA College never locks their gates to athletic fields and to their track, so we could always go there, too.
A sweet, funny, beautiful girl, so talented and yet so humble. What is there not to love in this totally exceptional athlete? Best wishes to you, Sydney! ❤
Sydney, you are perfect...because God creates treasure not trash! If he wanted you different, He would have created you different. I am so sorry you experienced this.. Know you are prayed for and supported, and we know how hard you worked to maximize God's gifts. Proud of you and ongoing prayers.
Hola se que no entiendes ni idioma español pero te admiro eres una líder ...Dios te a añadido grandes en tu unidad eres súper bella n linda Dios te bendiga... De un admirador venezolano...
Any advice for young runners like me I’m 16 I run the 400 and 800 I’m on track to get full ride scholarships... but my ultimate goal is to make it to the olympics any advice?
@Its Jayda Here's my Top 5 list of colleges that have had a high level of success training 400/800 runners - Texas A&M, Oregon, Stanford, USC (who just hired Jebreh Harris, a top 400/800 coach) or UNLV, who is less well known but currently has a :52/2:01 runner who has already qualified for this year's Olympic Trials.
was hoping for a little insight in the training but the only information we got from this is that syd is training with Allyson ! And honestly Sydney doesn't really seem sympathetic
You are the greatest but it doesn't make a lot of sense to train in the street. 20-year-olds can get away with that but your back will eventually not tolerate this kind of impact. You should run more hills on soft land. Good luck in Tokyo.
