Road train Australia 

That's a nice lookin "road train"! I really like the Kenworth tractor! The only time that I've seen a "road train" triple truck combination here in the U.S., is I-25 & I-70 in Colorado! I've drove a set of doubles only once! No tripples!

Agreed! Ive seen vids of truckers with 3-4 trailers back them up into a tiny space with precision, that takes skill.

i am extremely thanful to you for putting this video here. i was telling me about the road trains and he was so excited to see it. this was the first video i found on yt. he loved it so do i. here in india, we dont have roadtrains and thats why its very exciting thing to know...thanks a lot....

I heard a long time ago that you are supposed to honk the horn if u meet a road train so they wont fall asleep (lol) out on those roads. Is this true?

@madhatter0110 Yeah a real hazard on those deserted, flat, straight highways. They are banned in the city, they are only allowed to be used in remote areas.

the only reason they are legal in australia is because the roads in the australian outback are straight enough and long enough to have them. the roads in canada aren't like that and it would cause all sorts of trouble in canada to have them

He's not actually delivering those tanks of gas- theyre just the fuel tanks needed for the truck to haul it's own fuel round.

So tempted to do this for a few months instead of travelling or something haha.

There is a lot of open straight roads in Australia which is ideal for road trains. You also need a special class license to drive these beasts...!

Very true. However deadhead hauling is never what a logistics company wants. Here they try to keep the turnpike trains loaded to the gills. Our trucks rarely see an empty trailer. Designated light vocational cabs will take the pups to get loaded, then back to the pavement. Of course I am certain you know this already.

Its not realy about the roads but more about the distance it drives. I suspect the US uses more conventional freight trains. I've seen a few when I was in the US, they're massive, long.. and VERY slow. Not sure though..

its called a mc licence muliple combination semi licence is a ha heavy articulated hr for heavy rigid mr for medium rigid yhen there the specialized load licence for bulk dangerous goods and so forth

They cant be loaded all the time, they deliver stuff to places you know!
