Hey! Just wanted to thank you for your amazing work! I really enjoy your collection of music, especially the playlists, because you can just listen to them in the background. Now I don't know how you exactly get in contact with the bands you feature (do you email them, do they email you?), however I wanted to bring the band Mainfelt to your attention. They're a Folk Rock Indie band from the alpine region of South Tyrol in Italy. They have a unique sound to their music and over the last year they actually got more and more popular! (Oh and also their songs are mostly in English) However they're not really active on RU-vid. Maybe if you got some spare time you want to check them out, would love to hear some of their songs on your channel :) Again, not sure how this works, but it's just a recommandation! We were supposed to be roadtripping western Europe with my fiance now. He got us cool convertible, I was already putting some playlists together... Instead of going (thank you, Covid), we are in our livingroom, drinking light wine and dancing. Took a road trip with my wife for our honeymoon. Started in Ohio, went to Montana, drove down highway 1, came back across the south through Grand Canyon and Texas and back to Ohio. 6,000 miles in 2 weeks seeing over 10 national parks and monuments. By far the greatest thing I have done in my life and made me realize how perfect my wife is for me. A great driving playlist is a must have!!!

My work just finished, and I took the longest, country road back to my house. Picture this mates, it was slightly drizzling and I wind down the windows and the rain was slightly dropping on my face, while playing this song and boy, was the feeling so refreshing. There were moments where I couldn't stop smiling while I was driving. That feeling, now you can't buy that anywhere. *_NOW GUYS, WHO IS STILL UP FOR THAT ROAD TRIP FROM SOUTH EAST ASIA ALL THE WAY TO WESTERN EUROPE?? we will have beer, bacon and what not! only Alex's compilations will be playing in the background. haha swimming in the lakes, camping out in the mountains and man, just thinking about that makes me smile!_*

Anything over 35 mph and you can't hear the music, also the sun gets in your eyes at weird angles and it can get cold super fast. There is a reason that people with convertibles have the windows up and the top down.

THIS IS FANTASTIC!!! I am planning the road trip of a life time with my best friend. We are still children who want to explore the world but we have dreams and we going to chase them. I am working a playlist right now and this so a big help. We're driving up north of Auckland tonight to go check out the bioluminescence thing (also known as "sea sparkle"). The drive is about 40 minutes, and this playlist is just perfect for the drive 🚗🌊

Even though I'm from South Africa but in my mind when I'm listening to this I only think of taking a VW classic Mini-Bus with curtains. Get friends together and drive from New Mexico straight to Arizona deserts to Nevada and finish your trip in Los Angeles, California while playing this mix and other like it 😊😊😊😊 . Now that an Ultimate road trip. Soon I'll take it 🤗😀

Why this playlist isn't on everyone's car stereos is beyond me. Heard Smith & Thell's "Feathers and Gasoline" as well as Aaron Rickel's "Fading Summer" and my wallet nearly melted when I whipped out the plastic so fast to buy their albums. Thanks for all the hard work putting these gems out there, alexrainbirdmusic! Please know that you have saved many lives from mediocrity with your uplifting folk and indie selections!

My friends and I dreamed about taking a road trip to New Orleans. We wanted to explore the French Quarter and stay in a haunted hotel. Now we are scattered but we still talk about that dream. Like, if we get enough money for it, we will pool everything and go. This would be the perfect playlist on the way! I just know they would love it too.
