That long trip reminds me of the journeys that I made from California to Texas. Mine was a little over 21 hours with a 1994 Dodge Intrepid that had almost 200,000 miles (or about 321,900 kms) on the odometer. I did that 4 times. It was fun. Side note: Your guy's roads seem to be in almost pretty damn good condition! I'm sure there are some exceptions, but still.
Nice video! I did a trip from my home in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jacksonville, Florida in a 2002 BMW M3 with a super charger. Two day trip and I was able to get a good 155 MPH out of that car on some stretches of road. I sold it but I sure miss it. LOL
I'm looking to go to a 320d from my E46 318i. Bought her from a scrap yard and built her to perfection in a year, but I want that extra bit of torque and that fuel economy now that I've learnt what I should look out for. You've convinced me that diesel is the way to go on this car.
Im selling a 320d e 46 2002 model call or whatsapp me 0711112598, the car is non mover for now because the mechanic fail to fix the previous problem but almost everything is fine
Great video man, enjoyed the video quality. Pretty decent fuel consumption, the E46 is just one special car alongside the E39(in my opinion). Haha I actually stay in that complex, here in JHB.
great job guys....great trip. but i see your engine temperature on the dashboard is not working well, it should be running at working temperature, if it is displayed, half of the gauge, not one third
@vroompaa you car was not coming up to temp, normally when the thermostat goes it fails in the open position. Was this the cause of your clutch issue due to cold temps in the gear box?
