Love your video...my son and daughter-in-law were married in the Peloponnese mountains at her family's house in 2013... brings back so many memories of such a beautiful country.... I have been to a few of those places including the Diros cave...thanks for showing us all the scenery!
Thanks for the beautiful video those places where my life before 2014. I used to live in Kalamata, after that I moved to Melbourne Australia hevent been back since... Looking forward to visiting all this places again soon . Thanks 👍 again greetings from down Under.
Awesome video! I really like how you place your voice, which made it easy for me to understand, since I'm not an english native speaker. Also, the video provides great information about the Mani Peninsula and a few off the beatten track spots. Thank you so much!
Very informative and helpful guide to the area. I liked the way you described the Kalamata area as a holiday exploring destination. Thanks and all the best David
Another way to get to agios Nick from Stoupa there is a cycle track right along the edge of the cliff it has only recently been properly paved and it is one of the most beautiful walks/ cycles I have ever been on it you just have to follow the cycle signs through Stoupa
I never considered Greece a cycling country (having done a fair bit of it - on the flat what there is and in the mountains!) because of the terrain it's not bike friendly for long distances or touring. The recent mountain bike excursions is a commercial business part of the tourist trade. Nothing wrong with that by the way. It is healthy and green and respects this beautiful country.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing. I toured Peloponnesos back in the 80's on a 125cc ...haha. I'm sure the roads are MUCH better now :) I have family in Korinthos, Nemea and Neapolis. I hope to do it this year again. Just curious, what moto do you ride? I'm hoping to rent a Honda CB500X or something close. Again, thank you for your work!
Excellent and very professional. Good job, beautiful video intertwined with excellent narrative. I did nearly the same route last summer and your video brought back lovely memories.
Thank you Andri! It is doable, because from Monemvasia to Taenaro is about 2 and a half hours. So it depends on how long you want to stay in each place.
Thankyou for the Reply! I think I will visit the Mani as a whole day de-tour from Sparta/Mystras to Monemvasia. Would the north half of the Mani be good enough? Or is Taenaro and the south end a 'must'. Thanks!
It depends! I like it, because it has a wild beauty, like the one you see in Cyclades islands. You watched it at the video, so you have a taste of the area :)
Wow, that does it! Bucket listed for 2021. Do you think a 250cc Adventure bike such as Honda CRF would handle all roads? What time of year did you film this excellent production?
Hey! You won’t have any problems with this bike 🙂 Only if you go on the highway you have to be careful because of the high speeds... I was there in June and August of 2014
My grandparents are from the Mani and I've been there several times but I couldn't finish the video. The muzak was awful and unnecessary, it added nothing and is an annoying distraction.
