Houston is the size of San Antonio and Dallas combined. Huge place but a hell of a city. Love the place.

If you would’ve gotten off at the Louisiana St./Downtown exit, that would’ve put you in the heart of Downtown Houston, like where all the skyscrapers are. You have to drive for at least a couple miles on Travis St. before you get to Central Houston.

Good video sir. Im not into elevators at all but I am into highrises/skyscrapers(though your elevator info is interesting). As a Dallas native i've always been impressed by Houston's number, and height of skyscrapers. For me though seeing downtown Houston wasn't a big deal(kinda feels like a slightly larger Dallas) What blows me away is the number of skyscraper clusters OUTSIDE of downtown. Uptown,TMC,Greenway. Just like their own cities. Dallas has a few bldgs 25+to 42stories outside of downtown D (not including our uptown which is booming) But VERY few. You could count them on one hand.(though our Galleria/Tollway area kinda looks like Houston's Uptown minus the Williams tower) But Houston has them EVERYWHERE and under constr.. haha! which I find so cool no other city like it. Houston will always have more skyscrapers but watch out for your little bro Dallas cause he's starting to look good too.) A 45 and a 53 story in the works for uptown.:p

JasnoGT Dallas won't go past Houston's skyline limit of 75 floors (JPChase Morgan Tower - Tallest in Texas), and not to mention the several new projects in the Houston downtown area, including some new 60-80 floor skyscrapers and the entire reconstruction of the i45, i10, and highway 59.

I've already had this conversation multiple times with multiple posters. Not gonna do it again. First of all there are zones in downtown Dallas with NO height limit. The Perot/Hillwood/HOK project is one of them. Preliminary designs are already complete. I am completely aware of what Houston has built/is building. Unfortunately it sounds like you are not aware of what Dallas is doing right now. Please do your research. A good place to start is Skyscrapercity or Emporis.com. Thanks.

ChromeAmazing I love both cities. No hate against Houston. Dallas has always in a way modeled itself after its bigger older brother. Both cities sprawling scattered cityscapes are unique. Something most northern cities dont have.

First I have seen of your videos and I love this one. Have you ever driven in MI! None of the roads there are smooth. When I visited I drove on I75 and holy Toledo, that road was like a Dirt road in certain area's.

Die Zexyy Bear yea I see ... Jacksonville is 1.6 million in metro by the way ... still far less than houston tho ... not 900k ... almost twice that almost ... but yea houston seems humugus like a true behemoth a super mega behemoth .... how many miles would you say it's dimensions ???? I googled it and look at it's maps from what I read and see ... I say Sealy to just right at beamount ... from Galveston or Bolivar peninsula to prairie view or new Waverly I say it's well over 150 mi by 150 mi
