One year ago I happened to have the same road trip from Miami to New York City. They cancelled my flight back to NYC, and also all the flights for the next couple of days. So I decided to rent a car and to get to Big Apple (on my own) on wheels. I left Miami around 7pm on Saturday, I drove to the first service area in Georgia where I slept for 5-6 hours, and then I continued my journey all the way north. I arrived in NYC at 6:30 pm on Sunday. It took me a while, but it was definietly worth it, even though I haven't seen actually a thing during that road trip.
Amazing! Me emociona mucho ver este video ya que hice casi la misma ruta Miami - New York el año pasado, y sin duda fue la mejor experiencia que tuve hasta hoy a mis 17 años, saludos desde Perú, muy buen trabajo
Thanks for the video Robert. I saw many roadtrip videos but none of them have the information you give, and they are really neat. Im actually gonna do your Californian roadtrip this summer, and i hope to do this one too later on. I hope you keep doing your thing man, you are great!
This is an amazing video. My husband and I are planning a vacation..a road trip from Florida to NYC this coming January 2019. We are from malaysia...although this video was taken many years ago, it’s still gave us an idea of what we will expect on our road trip. Thank you so much. I’ve enjoyed it tremendously.☺️
Thanks for making and posting this video, I always enjoy your videos. Since i`m from Amsterdam, and crazy about the states i have to watch videos on you tube. But keep posting them, looking forward to the next.Greetings Carlos
Very worth the effort of watching this well produced video. As Australian who have never been to the States, this video was very informative and gave a real feel for the destinations that were passed through to reach the final destination.... WELL DONE.
Excelente video. Gracias por compartirlo. Muy entretenido y además, hermosos lugares. Estados Unidos es un país realmente hermoso. Saludos desde Venezuela.
Hello Robert! Amazing this video! I'm from Brazil and hope to do this trip like Miami x New York, and you help a lot! Thanks! Congrats for this awesome video!
I just want to say what a lovely person you are Robert. There are good people all around it's just taken RU-vid to make it visable. Thank you for all you put into your videos, the music is always perfect. Will you ever come and see Banff and Jasper ?
Drove from Boston to Miami , 24 hour drive, I cut the trip in half I slept in North Carolina, for anyone that wants to do this trip just take I-95 all the way, very long trip , wonderful experience though , you feel like you entered a new planet hehe good luck !
Flakoswaqq23 I agree, I-95 is by far the fastest way, but isn't I-95 in Florida for the most part extremely boring? At least it is better than the Turnpike. By the way, if you are referring to south Florida you are right. This place where I live is like a weird planet, or country, or whatever it is. You would think it is the southernmost part of the continental USA, but where I live it feels like the northernmost part of Central South America and the Caribbean put together. Not a bad feeling but it is certainly different. Enjoy your travels.
What an awesome video. The music (is there a playlist? ;) ) and the voice-overs are great! Nice job Robert! It's my dream to visit the United States once! Did you ever visit Holland? I think you are gonna love the old buildings here, not only in Amsterdam and The Hague, but also the north part of Holland (where I live)! I am gonna watch of your videos! Nice work! Greetings from The Netherlands
Info F1Racing Hey, thanks! You can find the music on Spotify or pretty much anywhere else. Just search for Robert Morales. I have three albums published there. I was in Amsterdam 5 years ago but I want to go back and spend more time. Greetings from Miami (for now)!
LOVE this video! Actually.....all of them that I have seen so far. Question though.....what software do you use to edit? Some of your graphics (especially the red line going up the map) is really cool. And your shots are really well done. The sunrise was really impressive. GREAT WORK!!!
Great video!!!! Awesome!!!!! I'm just planing to make this trip for Christmas this year but I don't know how the weather is going to be, any suggestion in finding weather info in advance? I'm traveling with my wife and my little kid 6 months old, just wondering if this is a safe trip for my little one. Thanks for sharing this awesome video!!
MegaSsau Hi, unfortunately it is impossible to predict the weather more than a few days in advance. I suggest you check a weather app regularly during your trip. My favorite on Android is Weather Underground and on iOS i really like Dark Sky. I think it would be safe as long as you don't do anything risky like driving under heavy snow or icy conditions and have appropriate winter clothing. It is a great trip and it is New York after all, one of the greatest cities in the world. Check out the full video of this trip here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-58WX0wJN4BQ.html. In this video you can see what we did in while in New York and our trip back to Miami.
Thanks for your quick feedback Robert, I can't wait to see the other video, as you said its New York, definitely I'll go there for Christmas. Once again thanks for your advice, people like you make me believe that there are still good people out there, keep on the good work :-)
+Spenser Madden We pass by Sebring quite often on the way north. When I see big lake to the right, blue water tower to the left, we must be by Sebring, and lately, since I have the trailer, US 27 is the way to go.
TravelingRobert I have to ask why did you travel all the way to Richmond on your way to NYC you should have went over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel though the Eastern Shore of Virginia,Maryland,Delaware to the NJ turnpike I think that would have been quicker??
My main camera us an older hard drive based Sony. XR-200. In this trip I also used a cheap Samsung as on dash camera. I believe it is an s10. Lately I have been using a GoPro Hero 3 and a Nikon dslr as well. Thank you!
