Northern Spain is where I would like to retire. The cities of Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela and Santander are spectacular as well. The food is top notch! Ahh Spain!
It would be a beautiful place to retire. We stayed in Oviedo one night but didn’t have enough time to explore as I’d like. We’ll have to check out those three on our next visit!
Thanks for watching! And thank you for being so kind about the music. I had no idea but I’m interested to learn more. I wouldn’t normally think of Spain and bagpipes but that’s so cool. Thanks again for sharing!
@@AnyoneCanTravel you are welcome….I am half Galician. The northern part of Spain, especially Galicia is mainly of Celtic heritage. The thing about Spain is that each region has their own culture, language and gastronomy……if you ask for flamenco up north, they will look at you weird…lol. I loved your video, well done! ❤️
@@aimararojas7037. I thought you were joking about the bagpipes! I had no idea that they are enjoyed outside the British Isles. This is the first video I am watching on Northern Spain. It sounds lovely!
Thanks for sharing those delightful locations👏🏽 I can understand that you couldn’t travel everywhere, viewers must be patient, or start their own channel😜
Congrats for this amazing travel video, i love it !!! I love Spain so much 🇪🇸 I am a World Traveler and It will be a pleasure to connect with other traveler 😁!!! Cheers from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Thank you! We definitely fell in love with Spain this trip. We’re so happy you’re here and enjoyed our video. Switzerland sounds beautiful! Any off the beaten path spots you recommend to visit?
I unfortunately am not super familiar with the music from different regions of Spain. I liked the rhythm and beat of the songs and thought they sounded Spanish, but did not realize it would be quite the controversy. I just wanted to share some cool places I visited in Spain that I thought others would like too. Sorry if the music threw you off but hopefully you still enjoyed the video 😊
It wasn’t too complicated. Definitely smaller roads and smaller parking but the cars are also smaller. It helps to try and make sure your hotels/airbnbs will have parking so you don’t have to worry about it as much, but we found paid parking easily in Bilbao and Valladolid when we stopped for lunch. Most cars will be manual by default so if you can’t drive manual make sure to request automatic in advance and there may be an extra charge for an automatic.
CAN someone explain me if the result of PCR Covid19 test for enter in Spain the 72 hours will be counted from the moment that they'll take from you RNA or from the moment that you will have your certificate???????!!!!
Hi! We were in Spain last year (March 2020 actually it was a little crazy!) so we didn't have to take a COVID test, but I did some research and found this information on Spain's Ministry of Health website ( www.mscbs.gob.es/en/profesionales/saludPublica/ccayes/alertasActual/nCov/spth.htm ): "a certificate with a NEGATIVE PCR result (COVID-19 RT-PCR), carried out in the 72 hours before arrival in Spain" For a test to be carried out in the 72 hours before you have to start the test within 72 hours is how I interpret that, but that is just what I think it means. There is also a FAQ document on that site that may be helpful for you. I hope that helps!
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Hi! Thanks for letting me know. I’ve had a few people mention that. I just liked the tempo of it, but I’ve learned more about different music in different regions of Spain and I know better for next time. I loved Spain and did not mean to offend in anyway. I hope you enjoyed the video either way though and thank you for the comment.
@@AnyoneCanTravel imagine if i make a video in northern USA, in Salem and Vermont, and as soundtrack i play texan country music with spanish guitar XDD. For us its the same weird feeling. Another example would be making a video in canterbury, east of London, and play scottish bagpipes dancing the riverdance. Dont worry too much about it, it´s just that for us it sounds very anachronic and funny. It made me laugh a lot. In fact the music you have used reminds me the caribbean sea, acapulpo or something like that. When you see people wearing coats because of the cold and rain in the northern coast with the caribbean music, its really weird hehe.
Portugal looks amazing! I wanted to do Portugal but we ended up doing Spain this trip. Next time! Hopefully we can all get back to traveling and visiting the places we love soon!
92M Visitors in 2019, not 50M. Then Covid happens and so... Second most visited in the world after France, and because everyone that comes from Europe to Spain in car, bike, train... comes trough France so they are counted as France Visitors. Spain is the Nº1 in "holiday destinnation" in the world, this menas not counting visiting, yust the destination.
