shekhar mr. Unfortunately , I've just started riding a bike (and then have to graduate to an Enfield) But I'm being optimistic. Say two years from now, I'd ride to the Himalayas, from Chennai.
great video, i enjoyed it - i filmed the large part of my ride ride from Jaipur through Rishikesh and Amora to Varanasi - i wish that i had as good a camera as you were using though. great quality picture , also i do not know how you did this with so little camera shake..
Aditya , i bought a go pro for my last trip to India but then my girlfriend went and broke her wrist in her village five days before we left Thailand, the Thai doctor had not set it correctly and so i had to get her an operation in a hospital in Jaipur and i spent the entire trip running her between physio sessions and visits to the hospital.....i had three different lots of video shooting planned including a long bike ride into the Himalayas, gypsy musicians and about the handicraft industries of Jaipur but i did not get a chance even to do one of them.........by the way, i just want to say that i love India and have been there more than thirty times often for stays of three months or more.....i would live there permanently if i could and can't wait for my next visit.......the Camera that i used for that first lot of filming gave such poor picture quality that i got rid of it, at the time i had not even heard of Go Pros and just hunted for the best sport cam that i could find, unfortunately that was the only type that i came across and it messed up the filming of a 4,000 km ride from Jaipur to Rishikesh, Ranikhet, Almora, Bareilley, Kanpur Varanasi Agra and back to Jaipur.
jonathan lovejoy I'm happy to hear that you love India. And your ride itinerary seems to be awesome! Since you ride an Enfield, I suggest you to check out rides organized by Enfield India. They have some superb and scenic routes . royalenfield.com/rides/events/ I've just now started driving a car and I'd love to graduate to an Enfield.
