Looking to explore something unique and historic? We took a drive out to find The Historic Old Dixie Highway in Bunnell, Florida.
Making a stop at the Yard Art Emporium in Barberville, on our way. Then, grabbing food in Palatka on our way home. We traveled some beautiful Florida back roads.

I grew up in a town Bridgeport MI, (Near Saginaw) that has one of the northern sections of the Dixie Highway near to where I grew up. It is still called Dixie Highway, but the original brick has been paved over many decades ago, and is now a 4 lane highway that runs somewhat parallell to I-75 (that also runs all the way down to Florida).

Yes! Familiar with Bridgeport. We go to Frankenmuth A LOT! I actually grew up south of Detroit, in Southgate. Lived just off Dix Highway there. Also done many trips up and down I-75. Thanks for checking out our video.
