We absolutely need more reviews like this. So many reviewers reviewing vehicles with no load and then say that the vehicle has enough power. Like okay? Any car has power with only one occupant. Fill the damn car with people and cargo and see if it still has power.
That is impressive since you did some city driving, some idling, some speeding, you were loaded down and had cargo on the roof that would affect the drag coefficient.
Brampton, lol. How are your car insurance rates? I live in Mississauga. Insurance much cheaper. Love your work guys-keep on trucking! #MefloquineMassTort
If your on the highway your should have put it in conserve mode. I think it reduces the turbo power and actually make a huge difference in fuel. When I take my Navi to Niagara Falls we have it in conserve and I get about 11.5/100 with it full of people. Just a quick mention. Oh excite mode is really bad for fuel economy lol
The fuel economy in Lincoln Navigator is pretty good especially to Australian Ford Territory which avg 13 to 18L/100kms. If Territory had same engine as Lincoln probably better fuel mileage. Let see if Ford brings Lincoln to Australia, would go nice with line up n Toyota Landcruiser run for its money.
I first fill in love with the Navigator interior but now with the upcoming Escalade & man it sure set the bar very high with that large screen across the dash. The screen from the Navigator is getting old and it's overrated I mean many none luxury cars have them but still the Lincoln is a fantastic SUV. Even a guy like Steven like to ride in luxury.
Curious if you did conserve mode and if you ran premium octane gas. I have one and the gas makes a big difference avg 21-22 hwy depending on how I'm driving.
Yep your right, in a full size crew cab truck with 4wd they’ll go 300k, friend in Tyler Texas has a King Ranch crew with 314k, has original turbos. Look on Auto trader and check out all the Ecoboosts with 200k +, add all that luxury and you get only 100k, Personally I wouldn’t give 100 grand for 2 of these, but absolutely not because of 3.5 high output Ecoboost engine, ill put a stock Ecoboost engine up against a stock V8 Any day of the week, quiet, economical especially in town and quick, these engines are proving them selves more and more every day with the millions in use on our roads. Regular oil changes and don’t dog them till their warmed up and give them a minute to cool down before you shut them off, they’ll go mile for mile with any V8 out their.
Blake the opposite is occurring. First that engine has both port and direct injection so valve train will likely give you issues on a V8 with DI long before this engine would. Also you would be surprised just how low the RPMs are on normal driving compared to NA engines of any type. Which engine do you think is working harder, an engine that averages 1,800 RPMs or one that averages 2,500 RPMs? Turbos can wear but that is a far better wear issue than internals wearing.
@@smarticus6384 the one with less cylinder pressure and more bearing journals will last longer, v8s always use less rpm almost. Unless ford has fixed their issues the opposite is not occurring, ill believe a ford tech before a random dude on the net however what u say is bologna
