I have every faith both pugs will make it, & if I had a spare 15k I'd buy that dodge for sure, what a thing of beauty she is. Great vid as always keep up the good work guys 👍🏻
As always Al a great video. Will be looking forward to videos on the trip to the Festival of The Unexceptional. Fingers crossed that both Pugs make it there!
Don’t listen to them Al… get her done It so cool. Definitely wish I owned one Not everything needs to be concours to be enjoyable And the fact that it’s here is basically.. miraculous 🎉🎉
My car needs far less welding than that, but I'm struggling with a huge case of "can't be arsed" Maybe if I buy a ticket to the festival it might be the kick up the backside I need...
Looked a different thing with a wash 👀 men of your calibres will have 305 sorted in no time...or just in time!! I had an old 309 2 door.. What a cracking workhorse! Bags of cement, wheels n tyres, oxy/acetylene bottles, engines the lot in the back (not all at once!) it never complained!! Cheers guys 👍
Love the original jack handle/wheel nut wrench still in it's clips on the inner wing, so much easier to get to than being in a lump of polystyrene in the boot.
Excellent upload Al and Fudge. I was ready for some hazzaring and brucie-ing. Like how you're setting yourself a target to get those two Peugeot's ready in time for the FOTE gig.
I like the way they used to fit tow bars back then😂,,couple bits of angle iron and a ball hitch welded on underneath...although that one looks lethal 😂😂😂.
I'll show my Dad this. He was a Ford man. Had a massive tantrum when issued with a D-Reg 305 Diesel company car and somehow got it swapped for a petrol Orion.
It's fortunate you have a lot of 'private roads' to get to your destinations as that Peugot may need them. After you steam cleaned it it looked brand new......yes I must visit the opticians. I think you are selling that Dodge too cheaply, it's beautiful. Anway, carry on with the good work chaps and I look forward to your fun vids on the Pug.😁👍👍
Oh my god Al you have got some work to do and plenty of welding to do for a MOT I forgot it's that old it doesn't need one 😂 you really love old Peugeots only ones I've had is 205 diesel and a 309 GTi only 1.6 and 106 and couldn't complain but you really know how to pick a rotten old shed 😂🤣
You 2 are proper legends & I hope to meet you guys at the festival 👍get that welder warmed up AL😂 I've a feeling you're gonna need a new one after the hedge pug is finished 😂
Old Peugeot diesels just go😊 I was a little concerned when you decided to steam no2, could just have dissolved 😅 Would love to be at the festival, but too much going on this summer, domage! The Dodge, lovely but I really lust after a Powerwagon even if I can’t afford one😢
I shall look forward to seeing le garlics at the show, I’m hoping fudge will wear a striped jumper and a string of onions. I can well imagine Mrs 6ds excitement. 😂
About 30yrs ago in a garage I worked in we had settle taxi cars an we had a 309 when it was to old to be taxi anymore we kept it as the garage run around an in the end the engine did enough mileage to go the moon an back few times an the engine ended up out living the body on it lol 😀
I am sure the 305 will make it 😉👍🏻, honestly though this is when Peugeot made good looking cars, and they used to be everywhere. That Dodge is special, worth every penny 👍🏻
When are you renting out the rejuvenation hedgerow area you mentioned, so that others can benefit from the reworking of the electrical’s without human intervention? Is it located at the start of the private roads we are hearing all about? You’ll make a fortune.
Hope it all goes well with the Peugeots at FOTU. I think both will make it. I'm surprised how good the 305 given it was in a hedge for so long. Look forward to seeing how the 305 comes on.
Woah, I hadn't realised FotU is was only 20 miles away. Sorely tempted to go in my deer, cricket ball, and stone wall damaged, MOT welded, base spec K reg 309 daily driver... 🤔
I had hoped to take my 3 pin plug aka Reliant Robin 3 wheel van there but its still in the garage over in Wincanton sadly having fuel system rebuilt as Shane's firm is just about the only 3 pin plug repairerers left in the area and is a diamond geezer....
I have a 205 1.4 gr that I found in a hedge, it’s got the mot thing and it’s not to bad , if you need it I’m sure it would make the trip , I’m sure you can do it though 👍
I had a 309 TD in red what a car fast good on fuel looked the part was a lovely car had if for about 8years every mot sails through had nearly 2000000 on the clock didn’t miss a beat then one day a bin man who could not drive a stick up a dogs arse took the side of it out when it was parked out side my house I was gutted
Don't forget the Rugby club car show up at Gillingham rugby club 21 or 22nd, big event motorwise and some nice motors incl a RR Camargue I always likes to see
If you see Ian Hubnut perhaps you can give your details to him , i sent them as i suggested you could sort his Berlingo out he hasn't fixed it as he hasn't a clue about diesels, another car stuck in his garage.
In the mid 90s I resprayed a 305 Td it wasn't a bad old bus😂😂.The Dodge is some machine. I unfortunately i dont think my wife would allow me to buy it 😂😂.
u use to drive an peugeot 204 diesel peugeot made holes an the side of the engine bay, wenn you take the weels of , you just stick a socket drive with an extention through the holes
... and people call me weirdo driving beaten souped up peugeot 205 gti for well over 20 years now ! I'm in no doubt you'll make it to the festival with these he and she who dares wins :)
@@6DDIESELSDorset Indeed , the whole lot from that era - 205/309/405/605 very good cars easy to fix , fun to drive (and pretty nippy gti/mi16/rallye/t16 models) with bullet proof petrol and diesel engines . I stuck with owning three 205 gti's one of them as an daily drive . Had privilege servicing and driving mates 405 T16 4x4 , that car was an blast !! :)
