Almost 76k on my 09 Cube and never one trip to dealer but routine maintenance. Just great. I would get another Nissan anytime.

We've had one of these for 5 years now in NSW Australia, as well as an Nissan Elgrand 8 seater both extremely reliable vehicles, the cube has only cost us a set of tyres, a set of brakes front and rears, and a set of rear bearings ,all moderately priced as well, the fuel consumption is excellent , sometimes I'm sure it runs on what other cars leave behind, as for space in the rear, we've had a front loader washing machine as well as a bar fridge and many more accessories, as for the motor, it could use a 1.6 lt diesel turbo like the one shared with Renault, Suzuki, and Peugeot, because I find when it has 2 adults and luggage , one needs to keep it over 3000 rpm to do any good whilst climbing up Mountains and by then you blow the speed limit, over all I'm happy with the vehicle as long as you use it around town, I have had long road trips ,but move over for faster cars,no good playing the hero.

I have the same car, It is awesome no problems at all 140 000 miles runs like new. I flush all the fluids, change all filters, changed all spark plugs and spark plug wires. Ceramic brake pads. Go to a great mechanic and have them do a 3 step fuel fuel injection cleaning service. Make sure they use BG products. It gets rid of all carbon build up The car roars now. Also use royal purple engine oil it is better then mobil 1 one oil. It drives like a race car now!!!! Also use Trico Titan wipers they work the best. I also change the serpentine belt every 80 000 miles just to be safe and i use royal purple oil filter great quality!

It's so ugly that it's actually cute and I love how big the windows are. I always see people driving white ones, they look like marshmallows

Shame about the comments in here - because forget about it being a w-w-w-woman daring to review a car, I like it because it was actually a competent review which is scarce these days.

@FatasMe I own this car and yes, its uniquely styled but I like it. Its not ugly IMO, but its very different. The styling is what really drew me to it because its not your standard boring sedan like a Corolla, Camry, Altima, etc. Its def not for everyone, but its a great car to drive, gets good fuel economy, and has a lot of cabin tech for the price point.

@UInACrash I agree. Nissan sells a Sports Horn as an accessory for about $50 which is much more powerful.

Currently have a Nissan Skyline and a Renault Clio... BUT I might be making room for one of these!

Good review on Ugly car! Not surprised it's been discontinued! I'm here solely on curiosity of the inside, after buying a Jeep Renegade.

People say this Cube is practical - it may be in ways, but certainly not the rear hatch, or door in this case. One simple drawback is you will get wet while loading groceries in the rain, as opposed to a conventional hatch that lifts up and acts as a roof.

Wonderful review. One of the best reviews on this vehicle. Can't wait for the Boxter Spyder next week. I'd like to see Jessi have fun with the car rather than just cruise down the road :)

I had a 2012 new I was using 93 prem gas and i was getting 35.5 MPG highway

I like Liz, she seems to be a good fit for commuter cars.

I always liked the Cube over its rivals, Element and XB. And, the one last to the party is the one that soldiers on alone, the Soul.

The cube is a decent car.... decent. The fuel economy is not where it needs to be for something of it's size, but that is the trade off for the huge interior of a box on wheels, terrible drag coefficient. Personally I would get a base Sonata over this and get 4 better MPGs.

I heard that Japanese cars have weak horns because they frequently use the horn to signal to others for benign purposes such as saying "you can go ahead" whereas American drivers pretty much only use the horn for emergency purposes and blowing off steam.

The ugliest car ever made, in my opinion. For that money, you can get one of the TDIs and STILL have the same fuel economy, if not better.
