That guitar work that shreds as Ronnie starts lifting off the ground has lived in my head rent free for a solid week. Shouting "watch the world burn!" has now also become my default response to minor annoyances. It's just great.
You won’t believe this, but I JUST discovered FiR and this song three days ago. I have been shouting WATCH THE WORLD BURN every chance I get lol. This song gives me the biggest dopamine rush I’ve ever had.
Ronnie showed more than once that he can rap, but this was next level... and they didn´t miss to deliver the BOOM later like we´re used to! :D I love the way they always add some easter eggs from other stuff, including their own songs and music videos... xD And yeah, i agree, this i like "you want a villain? You get it MFs!!!" xDD
out of all the reactions I've watched, yours definitely was one that resonated more with me. I agree fully about being subjective and objective about it. You cannot ignore the talent and production value that went into just this video alone, let alone the insane instrumental and vocal prowess that we see from this track. I was never a fan of escape the fate in general, but falling in reverse has definitely made me appreciate Ronnie and everyone in falling in reverse for just being true to themselves and putting out banger after banger. Funny thing is, they haven't even peaked yet, can't wait to see what they put out over the years after this.
I saw them last week in Hamilton, and as much as I love and was waiting for popular monster coming on, holy shit this song goes hard live so much better than probably any of the other songs they performed. I was curious how those big-ass rap portions would turn out live, and concerned at the same time as well, but it was just awesome man
Ronnie is the Eminem of this generation. Obviously he's not as massively mainstream but the way he says exactly what he feels with no fucks given for how controversial it is, gets a bunch of negative reactions to it and rather than backing down he responds to that negativity by straight up unapologetically calling out anything he defines as bullshit through his music so the message is loud and clear. I don't agree with everything he says, but I respect that he sticks to his guns, accept that the man is insanely talented and am hilariously entertained almost every time he opens his mouth.
Yo Tank, you do make the most natural reactions on youtube, in that video i can feel the satisfaction that you got of this video, thx...i do share the same emotions like you got and this is what i expect of youtuber like you, my respekt to you and wish more natural youtubers like you.........wish you luck, love and health 🤍💙❤️
Yeah at 11 and 12 years old I was the only goth skater punk metalhead outcast in the local club on hip hop Sunday every weekend in late 96 and all of 97 , my and everyone’s favorite was Notorious Thugs , when that song came on here in the Midwest everyone went crazy
I listened to this song before watching this video and i felt like 14 year old me again, listening to Slipknots Duality, being close to tears cause i was so amazing by what i was hearing. I just love when music is so epic and hits so hard that it can hype you up so hard that you are almost crying and just feel the need to listen to it on full blast for hours. And accidently stumbling across such a song like i did in this instance?! Fucking awesome
@@TankTheTech I will be seeing them live on the 21st. I'm actually flying from San Diego to New Mexico since he isn't coming to So Cal on the 2nd leg. I've been going to concerts since the mid seventies and other than Queen, Black Sabbath and Zeppelin I have never been more excited to see a band live. I watched your video where you said their show was a must see and I knew I had to make it happen. Always enjoy your reactions. I appreciate the research and details you always include.
this past year or so ive been really excited for Falling in Reverse again, going to see them the 10th which will be my 6th time gotta say with everything they've done my favorite show was in Pittsburgh when they did their acoustic tour in late 2013 or early 2014 still have my V.I.P meet and greet hanging somewhere
This song puzzled me a bit the first time. But then I listened to it again & again & again & I was quickly hooked. Ronnie is just so brilliant. Can't wait to hear this live this weekend.
Rappers reacting to metal classics complement the Lyrics for word play & depth. Metal Artists & Rappers have A LOT in common in perspective & Outlook on life
Ronnie would be dying of laughter at you noticing the laptop gag I’m sure 🤣🤣🤣 love your reactions as always tank! I just showed this to a friend after showing him I’m not a vampire revamped and he was floored
yea man i just subbed from the hi ren video tho ive seen you before a few times the first was the ronnie reacting to your fir reaction video and he skipped all the tech talk i remember. But I gotta say man your takes on these artists (from the small amount ive seen from you) seem genuine and real but also smart. And I mean smart like, I feel like this guy knows Rock music better than most and can give insight that most cant! And for you to do that while being in the industry and still come off genuine and real is applaudable to say the least! Kudos to you Tank I think you have a lane here that youll keep respect from both your fans and the artists that you probably have to intermingle with from time to time Im sure lol! Well done sir!
Good catch on the laptop, I didn’t notice it until you did. As a former touring musician, we didn’t necessarily have “laptops” but we had multiple processors, loop and sample machines, because it improved the quality of the show. To accuse a band of not playing “live” is ridiculous. They made the trip….they gave up their time, their energy, and their devotion to create music that obviously people are enjoying. Bach should just shut his mouth and be thankful that radio stations are still playing 18 and Life every once in a while. He’s not a vampire but he seems like one😑
I listen to a lot of music, especially rock and metal, but Three 6 Mafia is one of my top 10 musical groups. Lord Infamous was also a rapid fire rapper. Ronnie is great at what he does.
There's all I love even if i didn't catch all the lyrics (I will, because I will be listening it sooo many times). I love old school hip hop, and I think if someone have to raging in rap songs it could sound like this. And that ending lows them demonic highs and destroyed earth, f***ing HOMELANDER, ha, nooo, Homelander isn't enough for this, Ronnie is a viltrumite for sure👌 P.S. I heard pt. II of the "pain remains" in the background, love that choice (I hadn't the one most favorite band until Will joined to Lorna Shore)
The first thing this song reminded me of was Eminem's Rap God - the speed and articulation together. It wasn't until after I saw this that I felt like Ronnie's beefs seem pretty similar to what I hear on Eminem. It's all out there in the songs, and frankly I think it raises his profile and notoriety rather than harms it. I'm not much of a drama llama myself, but I admit a kind of fascination with these gossipy things in metal so I guess I'm susceptible too. But when it comes down to it, I just really like the music so I'm gonna keep coming back. I enjoyed your impressions!
I mean it's not the first time he's rapping. There was a song back in like 2012 called alone were he first attempted to blend rap and metal in the modern era. Also he didn't gave up on that and now we have this. Determination and refinement can sure go a long way in music.
I am 50 years old (I do boomer bends on guitar 😂) and this hits me so hard in the most positive way. I don't know Ronnie as a person, but I have just love for what he does as an artist. ❤ That rap is so good, like ... no words ..., the metal parts ... again spechless, that video 😳, that quality, that dedication, that humor 😅. Yes, he cannot do this alone, but I assume this guy's unbelivable talent and energy pushes it, where it is - on another insane level. 👍
U dont have to apologize for being a big later though. Even if u took days off to focus on ur private life we really appreciate and await ur reaction on this.
Yes I agree with the villain comment. People villianized me now I am what they said about me and more. People like me and Ronnie embrace it. My name is Ronnie as well.
A masterpiece- both the video and the song. Great Rap/Rock/Metal as well as a movie-quality video. I bow down to Ronnie, but here's the real question: where did they get the money for this video?? It's a mini-movie with as much production quality as many movies. And dude- you're the 2nd reactor to catch the Sebastian Bach/Laptop scene-lol.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the first half of this song the first time I heard it because rap isn’t really my thing, but the more I listened to it, the more impressed I became. We got to hear it live last night, and it was amazing. Ronnie rapped it in full, and the whole crowd was into it despite the song only having been released a few days ago. Highly recommend everyone seeing them live if you get a chance!
I am a fairly recent appreciator of this band and Ronnie. I have known who he is for years and a lot of hate is deserved as he has done some pretty bad stuff. And a lot of the time comes off as a bit of a dick. However, So many people have also done so. I am simply judging his music, and his art, and i have to give respect. He has made some great songs and some different tracks and i have enjoyed listening to them. I don't agree with how much all music has become laptop based or any band creating music that cant be recreated "live" however, it is the way it is. Great track, great diction, amazing video. Fair fucking play
I love the fact that the story of the song is bad ass too. It's a super hero that saved a city. Rebuilt it. Saved it. But the religious leaders started calling him a demon. So he said "fuck it" and went full super villain.
Dude this song has rap at the level of Eminem, metal at the level of Avenged Sevenfold in that double lead, breakdowns at the level of modern metalcore.. Ive heard it live through youtube videos and the bassist actually helps Ronnie at the Eminem super rap god part, which makes this band even more impressive....
Somebody get the camera! Somebody, send me some positive energy About to go Darth, about to go Disney Into the darkness, into infinity and Shut you motherfuckers up, you listening?
I saw several references of movies and TV series the first one was Snake-Eyes g.i. Joe the second was Star Wars force awakens the third was the nun and the fourth was the boys homelander
Nice reaction as usual, the whole thing reminds me on what they did to Tom MacDonald. I like the style i watched a few Videos now from Falling in Reverse and they seem great so far, He makes crazy videos will certainly look forward to hear more…….
I don't understand why someone will go out of their way to be mean to artists. I saw only two videos of this singer and both times I got goosebumps but I didn't fall in love with his music so much as delivery with visuals - it's beautiful, terrifying but beautiful. Not something I'll listen to personally but I'm not gonna hate on him, like why?
Incredibly talented. I don't like some of his message (in general) but a ton of it is true. The best lies are wrapped in truth, but you still can't ignore facts. I will keep listening because of the talent.
So wise words in the end. Nowadays world needs to turn back to that common sense before it's too late. Very well said my dude. That said, Ronnie is a monster, his talent is insane and should be recognized no matter what your taste is. And if people don't get that no-brain hating will get us Homelander shit, well... we're already sadly seeing where all that is taking us.
