It’s not where you go. It’s what you leave behind . . . Chef, writer, adventurer, provocateur: Anthony Bourdain lived his life unabashedly. Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain is an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at how an anonymous chef became a world-renowned cultural icon. From Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (20 Feet From Stardom, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?), this unflinching look at Bourdain reverberates with his presence, in his own voice and in the way he indelibly impacted the world around him.

I’m 51 . Blue collar. Mr Bourdain changed the way I thought about myself. I looked at him and said if this guy , a cook, an addict, a man that admittedly had huge faults as a person similar to mine can go to these wonderful places and meet and enjoy time spent with people from these places so can I. I guess he inspired me to do things in a way no one else ever did. And when I learned he cashed in his chips I’m not ashamed to say I teared up a bit as if I lost a close friend. And it’s amazing that he had this effect on so many people around the world.
