The Tucson Fire Department's Pipes and Drums group performed right after the national anthem. They had just left the ice when Cunningham collapsed. A few of them went out to help the trainers and paramedics.
That's hard to watch. You don't want to see a team mate collapse. Pavelec had the same thing while he was on the Thrashers. Praying for Craig. Hope he's alright 🙏🙏🙏
Craig Cunningham is a good captain when he came to Springfield Massachusetts when Cunningham came to the Springfield Falcons and he is a amazing man. Love you.
Craig appeared to have Suffered a seizure before collapsing on the ice Tucson firefighter paramedics performed chest compressions while rushing him off the his condition is unknown at this time. Being a firefighter paramedic my self I can only imagine what was going through my brothers minds my thoughts and prayers oar with Craig's family.
Michael Pozirekides if it was a seizure I don't think breathing usually stops. but with all the chest compressions to me it sounds like cardiac arrest . that's just my thought
Gotcha . I just heard about it and there wasn't much details in the article I read . I suffer from epilepsy that's why I was looking up to see if it was a super bad one that could have been it
He most likely had undiagnosed hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It causes dilation of the atrium which predisposes people to go into arrhythmias, one of which is ventricular fibrillation, which is a medical emergency (many people outright die from it.) This was very likely v fib, which is why the chest compressions were necessary. He’s lucky he lived.
gauranteed site unseen c cunningham could knock the teeth out of anybody who has anything negative to say about this ............terrible incident hope to see him play and knock out more teeth in the future!!!!!!!!!!!One tough son of a bitch!!!!
