It would be interesting to see the gold mine operation and especially how they classify the ore, I am sure not much gets past them to the tailing pile.
Sweet adventure and such a small world. My son and I came across a bunch of the same materials you were going through and did find some terminated crystals and other shapes along with pyrite cubes very small to. Some of the pieces sure set the metal detector off and we had discriminated iron and foil out thank you
Ahh ..was thinking about you just yesterday.. it’s tree time.. you and daughter Amy going out for a tree soon??. Good seeing you posting again.. I was wishing for gold..❤️☮️.
good stuff mate. There's certainly some interesting places along your highways. Merry Christmas to you and yours if we don't see you on here beforehand.
I helped build a coal wash plant where the process started with a rotary breaker. Material that would not break down to 2” was ejected out the end. Some days I’d find nodules of iron pyrite as big as your fist. I’d save them and give them away, they were so cool.
At least some MoT inspector or roads crew didn't pull up and tell you to "move along". But then, I didn't see any signs up saying "No Collecting" like there are in some parts of Ontario.
Greig, great video, love those pyrite crystals! Did the quartz rock show any gold under magnification? On a separate question, you made a video a while back, I can't find it after quite some searching, you were using a reciprocating tool, a tiny one to slowly chip layers of rock off your minerals, which one was that video, do you remember? Appreciated.
Damn it, only you and a couple other people i am subbed to with problems not getting notified. Now i got a couple to go through, i see you have been posting about once a mmonth. But no fu$&#@g notification
remember they just discovered fools gold has tiny amounts of real gold in it after all, so now were not all as foolish I suppose. nice looking cubes to !
I looked over these rocks with a microscope and didn't see anything that jumped out at me as gold. I plan on trying to crush some just to see if I can pan any
