We have got scammed by these two. We have decided to have our lunch at this place on our way to Shimla. Everybody was famished and we all held our appetite for this after watching this review. Unfortunately what we have got was unhygienic and tasteless food. Worst experience. Don't get fooled by their comic presentation, there are multiple good Dhabas on highway serving hot and fresh food. Bon appetite!

@@youtubeking2686 I visited the old one almost 20 yrs back and than this new vishal was not there . These all came up in last few yrs only. I have eaten quite a few times at the original Puran Singh ka dhaba back in the 80s. Today, it is really a big puzzle as to which of the many Puran Singh wannabes is the "original" one. There is one run by his wife while another one is run by the guy who claims to be the original Pooran Singh's meat supplier. Anyway, I ate at the one run by his wife and the food was delicious. I would have said that the food in the actual Pooran Singh's dhaba was better, but then in the 80s, I was in my twenties and my appetite was a lot healthier back then 😅😅😅.

Wrong place, though my comment is very late. The real one is in the adjoining lane with name "Vishal Atri" of the son written, the current owner. It's Asli Puran Singh ka New Dhaba.

These both guys were sitting right next to our table yesterday at this puran singh ka dhaba when eating their food..... I remember they also informed the owner about the disposable plates they were eating in at the place......

And another hidden gem of Ambala is the Frontier Chicken Center, in Sadar Bazar. But they open only in the evening, at 1830 Hrs. However it is totally worth it, for its taste, especially their butter, tawa and karahi chicken recipes. However the oil they use is industrial grade, but you can have it once in a year.

@@zackheather2307 I belong to ambala and I am 38 years old I am visiting this hotel from past 25-30 years. Now from past 4-5 years there taste is getting worse day by day. Just a hype created in past years by some food channels this is still running but only by tourists you don't find a single local resident eating there.

You guys went for the ambience. Tbh, I used to have it at this place myself, until 2016, when my cousin chided me to check out the original one. Original dhaba, now run by his adopted son, is no longer the place it used to be, until 2018, when they put everything on the menu. Their original menu had Chicken Curry, Mutton Curry and Keema Kaleji, that is all!
