Gorgeous!! Even Rugged Mountain Mister saw the Colosseum and was like, "I know that building"! I studied all those buildings in Architectural History Class! I would have had to protect my manly dignity too looking at all that stuff! Remarkable! Too much to comment on but we loved watching it all!

love these tours you get for your excursions, seems the only way to truly experience the city. you saw so much in your time on land. so cool to see all the old structures and monuments and hear first hand stories from local guide. You're rt, the Only drawback to a Cruise is limited time! Very smart booking a private Tour! I want a croissant in Rome like Now, 😆. I can't imagine what it was like actually being there at the Coliseum! Her grandfather played around there? Wow, if he only knew as a Child what he was playing around in! 😆.
The story of playing in the colosseum was so crazy, made us realize that these places have just been hanging out and not that long ago started to be restored! The private tour was so great!
If I go back to Europe I would definitely do a private tour for Rome and Florence. We did in Madrid and Barcelona and it really was much better. I’m really enjoying your cruise vlogs!
Glad you redeemed yourselves on seeing the Real "Trevi Fountain," now if only I can redeem myself from thinking I was in Italy on my last Resort Tour, 😆 🤣 😂. I must admit, I'm watching this video for the 3rd time, its That good! Oh, & I'm trying to learn more about Rome to impress my hubs, 😆. But seriously this is an Outstanding Tour!
Wow, what a dream!! I have always wanted to visit Rome. Someday! What an incredible city with so much history. Waking up early really did pay off haha! That was a close call on the tour guides. So awesome you had such amazing guides. Espresso right in Rome? Oh yes please!! Wow! The coliseum is absolutely incredible, I would get emotional lol!! That's a bucket list for me too. So incredible. The Trevy fountain is so cool! Lots of people for sure, awesome your tour guide saved the day with coins to throw in. The food looks incredible!! Vatican City looks incredible. So cool you could walk down the Pope's hallway! I can't get over how detailed all of the ceilings and walls are. Another incredible video! Can't wait for the next video :)

Now this is the life having a private tour. With how you do these videos I think you are ready to give your own tours. Getting private tour guides is worth it especially if those fountain wishes come true. Haven’t seen those coliseums since the 80’s. Crazy story about hammer guy! What a fin trip and thanks for sharing.
So many of our bucket list items were in this video. The Colosseum is probably the one we most want to see. But there is so much history in Rome and we want to see it all some day. What a trip! Thank goodness Justin was awake!!! It sounds like an absolutely perfect tour. I find it incredible to see such historic/iconic places in person, so grounding. Go Bethany trying the fountain! This is such a bucket list trip! A guide definitely sounds like it made the most of the trip. Justin you studied art history? This must have been quite the trip for that. I didn't know there are no photos/videos allowed of the Sistine Chapel. I am not much of a Catholic anymore, but in all my school years I have never heard of the Holy door lol, very cool! So many beautiful sites. I can't wait to watch the rest of your vlogs!!

We didn’t know that we couldn’t video in the Sistine chapel until we got there, but way different than I thought, so small!
