The dog and I decided to take off for a week of camping in the Eastern Sierra north of Bishop California. We took the 69 Siesta vintage travel trailer and towed it with the 78 Blazer. This little jaunt is known as the Buttermilks Loop.
I can remember going down many oilfield roads that weren’t much better than those roads you were on in this video! And they wonder why it took me so long to get to the oil rig! Lol! I tell ya, I fell in love with Nevada many years ago! Chomping at the bit to get back out there…hopefully it won’t be much longer now. Sure been a loooong 7 years being stuck at the house! Great video! Stay safe and God Bless! ~Jim~
Glad to see you still at it. I haven’t been on RU-vid much the last couple years. We moved out to SC last year. Going to Moab next spring, hope to get back to the Sierras soon too.
@@mobiltec that stinks. I used to fish those lakes around coyote flats. I’d camp at the end of the trail that stopped near the John Muir Wilderness and hike to Baker lake and Thunder and Lightning lake.
@@blueduster74 I have a video on Coyote Flats. No fishing. Just wheeling with the dog. Old one though with low quality resolution. But still fun to watch.
"I wonder how many people have sat on this rock and said, 'I wonder how many people have sat on this rock.'" Katherine literally laughed out loud at that.
There is a camp host who is supposed to be taking care of things like that but this bone head was not staying in the campground. Like a few others, they are people either picking up or dropping off workers who are staying in the campground while working. I even found out that one is a drug dealer who supplies some of the tweekers who live here on the govt ticket.
@@victordebs4357 I was talking about the water in Pine Creek. That water shooting up out of the ground near the Owens River is fine to drink just the way it is.
