This movie would've been better if the steamies and diesels just decided to start killing each other at the meeting while Thomas wasn't there. I wanna see Daisy take on Emily. Also this video is dope. I love it.

To be fair, Sodor didn't have an airport because of it's massive amounts of railway lines and it's connections to British Railways (Formerly LMS and before that the Furness Railway, where Edward is from) They'd have to have an airport to keep up with the times, but you have to remember that by the time period that most of this is set in is the early 1970s, so it'd be expensive to build the airport as it'd be slow to bring profits to the railway and the various controllers. You'd have to be hard pressed to justify the airport early on in air traffic's lifespan.
