The fashionista dolls are not fashionable at all and have got worse as they have gone on. They are just cheap playline dolls now. It's a shame they don't put the same amount of quality into this line as they do the Barbie extra line, even if it means making them slightly more expensive.
The thing about Barbie #1 is that the black and white stripes is reminiscent of the very first Barbie and iconic Barbie pink makes me like it because it’s grounded in barbies roots
It is really a shame. They could easily design nicer fashions for these dolls and keep them cheap. They are very cheap to buy and not aimed at collectors. I personally don't like them. They are far too realistic for my taste and of course their terrible fashion sense don't help. Occasionally, there is a nice one. Shame. Mattel used to produce great dolls. It is really sad.
The green jersey one is so upsetting too because she has a gorgeous face sculpt. 🪦 Rainbow polka dot pencil skirt girl straight up looks like a Lularoe hun.
I think the point of doll line is well now showcase different body shapes and diversity among the Barbie line but also so you can take a different outfit and mix and match with different styles of the different sizes
I don’t like the fashionistas in general ☺️ they have clownish outfits and the stiff bodies… I like the old fashionistas , the articulated ones. They had tacky fashions , but at least looked very Plastix Fantastix Dollhouse Bimbolette to me and sorta cute.
The one person who likes to wear clownish outfits and has a stiff body is you! Plus, you should start giving the Fashionistas Made To Move bodies you stupid peasant! Whoops! You can't because your parents never gave you an allowance! 🤣🤣
I found an Articulated Fashionista Cutie from 2009 at Value Village, but I wasn't feeling her because her legs were loose due to the elastic, and I'm not really a fan of the Kanekalon Hair. Well, that's just my personal opinion.
I have the Glam Team, Polka Dot Fun, Plaid On Plaid, Patchwork Denim, Check Me Out, and the #112 Fashionista Dolls, and their outfits are pretty good in my opinion. I know most people really don't like the Fashionistas as much as I do because it look like their wearing Pajamas, Potato Sack Dresses, or shopping in the Kids Section at H&M. The only outfit I find the most interesting is the Dress over a Shirt.
I love my Fashionistas,but would never pay more than $8-$12, and only that higher amount if it is a hard one to find. Where did you find one for that much?
Most of us are not designers or stylist but we do have taste. I get that these are budget line dolls so their outfits are not spiffy but Jesus Christ put more effort. The clothes look like dollar store doll fashions. I think because many of us buy them for their head molds, different skin tones, different sizes, and different hair so when we see their fashions in a line called “Fashionistas” we get super critical. I would be fine if they put the diverse dolls in a basic swimsuit or under clothes and give them single joint articulations and sell them like that. Release fashion packs that are more thoughtful like they did back in the 60s/ 70s.
Bahahahaha So dislike some of the lame styles on these beautiful faces. But I love them anyway! Makes me wanna make some fresh ensembles again…got me into fashion in the first place, so clearly I must dress them again. In black.
These people b*tching about this video evidently have no sense of humor! I agree with some of your opinions on certain outfits and disagree with some others. But I still enjoyed this video very much!
