Well, I think I have somewhat of an answer for that: This MUSIC is for people wíth emotions (and attention) and most people try to avoid réal things; they do not like to cope with those. The way they would hear this music is superficial... not able to see... ahum HEAR it's depts.. or at least try to ignore it. On that notice, i think this music may make them feel a little UNcomfortable, how ever weird this may sound to you.
No matter how much you try to avoid trauma, it will drag you back to face it. You have to face it sooner or later. The best you can do is fortify yourself to be ready for that moment when you are dragged back to it.
I believe I agree on that wholeheartedly and I think the biggest confrontation towards your own life; your blessings and regrets you get in your tiiiime of dying. It will be a shock, not to overcome by most people >> and I dó mean most.
#robdougan Like a sentence of Death I've got no options left I've got nothing to show now I'm down on the ground, I've got seconds to live And you can't go now 'Cause love, like an invisible bullet, Shot me down and I'm bleeding Yeah I'm bleeding And if you go furious angels will bring you back to me Will bring you back to me You're a dirty needle You're in my blood and there's no curin' me Yeah And I want to run, like the blood from a wound To place you can't see me 'Cause love, like a blow to the head, Has left me stunned and I'm bleeding Yeah, I'm bleeding And if you go furious angels will bring you back to me Yeah, You're a cold piece of steel between my ribs And there's no saving me Yeah And I can't get up From this wet crimson bed that you made for me That you made for me 'Cause love, like a knife in the back Cut me down and I'm bleeding Yeah I'm bleeding And if you go, Angels will run to defend me To defend me 'Cause I can't get up I'm as cold as a stone, I can feel the life fade from me Yeah I'm down on the ground, I've got seconds to live And what's there that waits for me? Oh, that waits for me 'Cause love, like a sentence of death's left me stunned And I'm reeling, yeah I'm reeling And if you go furious angels will bring you back to me

You know what? This guy doesn't even sing that well, but what impresses me is that he is both a composer and singer... A not an ordinary composer, but also a soundtrack composer. It's the first time I've ever seen an incidental music composer sing and be confident as him. I respect him so much... He is like both a rockstar and an epic composer.
singing amazing has nothing to do with expressing yourself in art. The guy isn't event singing, it's more like he's talking a story with generic music-isms to make the song more of a song and less of a story.
I think he sings so well, not voice wise but the emotions in his voice , other male singers may get beautiful but can’t deliver this kind of raw emotions like Rob Dougan does
Video/lyric interpretation. - This song is about a man who feels that he must remain with his lover who has passed away. - +The chain (0:43), represented as a thread (0:51) of typical clothing, symbolizes Rob's strength/degree of will-power he carries to inevitably stay with his soul-mate. +"Cause love like an invisible bullet shot me down." Once informed about the unforeseeable fatal car crash (3:49), he uncontrollably ended his life. Which led to 2:18. +"And if you go, furious angels will bring you back to me." Rob's lack of control, to stay strong (and alive), permitted displeased angles to guide him back to his lover.
you have interpreted the video, but the lyrics can be interpreted 1000 different ways, and that is one of the things that make this song so memorable, true art.
"Furious Angels will bring you back to me" Angels (such as Seraph) were the first version of Agents, created to prevent people from escaping the Matrix.
Simply one of the most staggering songs I have ever heard. The entire album is incredible, especially the special edition with the instrumental CD. Rob Dougan is such a mysterious figure, I would love to meet him.
Finally found this, after hearing it first in F1 Grand Prix 3, I think it was, as the theme song, and my first video game that I played, damn those were good times
Hail to the Legendary Rob Dougan! I was born during the early 90's & I too, belong to the Old School era; the Matrix Era, which explains why I don't listen to teen pop music nowadays, at all. Let my soul die with the old school.
Furious Angels Ultimate Explanation v.1.0 Credits: Duch Podlasia This video is not as complex in terms of allegory as Clubbed To Death, but it is just as interesting. To understand everything, you should know that the events in the video are REVERSE. The first scene is actually the last scene. Our hero dies with his woman in a car accident, which is shown at the end. "'Cause love, like an invisible bullet shot me down". The antagonist did not expect that love could be the cause of his death. As seen at 3:32, there is no car nearby. It looks as if the driver himself caused the accident deliberately. Could it be that "You're dirty needle, you're in my blood and there's no curing it" refers to his woman and to a feeling that has already expired and he can't get over it? The adjective "dirty" could mean that this person (his beloved) did him wrong. Unfortunately, he is so addicted to her ("you're in my blood and there's no curing it") that he cannot see life without her. Because of this, he intends to kill himself and her. He knows that condemnation awaits him for this. In 1:43 we see that he lives in the surrounding reality, but only in spirit, because people do not notice him. 1:45 - this situation can be read symbolically that our hero's energy has negatively affected a passerby. In 1:49 he is pulled up onto a skyscraper. In 1:53 we see that this is the highest point in the city. Knowing the events of the Bible and Mount Sinai, on top of which Moses contacted Yahweh, we can conclude that this skyscraper is the judgment seat of our hero's soul. For it is located closest to heaven. In 2:16 the black ink shows the defilement of his soul. He has done many evil things during his earthly life, i.e. killing his woman and himself at the end (suicide). He is also dressed all in black. In spirituality, black is the color of death, murder, damnation, among other things. He has been sentenced to eternal punishment, which he knows ("if you go, furious angels will bring you back to me"). Here the furious angels may symbolize the demons that are in the place where he will stay forever. Despite his awareness of the harm done, the man feels no remorse because he wants this woman even after death. "Like a sentence of death, I got no options left, I've got nothing to show now" - has nothing in his defense. He says this at 0:14, before the eternal suffering itself begins. The scene is recorded as if the character is confiding in us, looking us straight in the eye. 0:00 shows the very end of his fate. Plunging into complete darkness, being all tied up, with no possibility of movement. Imagine being aware of existing without the use of any senses or abilities. This is the real nightmare. The End. Interesting fact - Rob Dougan himself wrote the script for this clip. He is a true genius, indeed. I have never seen an artist with such an awareness of reality. PS. Instrumental version is better than this one xD Greetings!
There is so much character and emotion in his voice. As far as I know he doesn't consider himself a singer, but this is perfection with all it's jagged edges
My mind was like, totally blown when I found out this had lyrics, as I'd only heard the version from The Matrix Reloaded and fell in love with that track XD _Tamagi Stardust_
It took me almost 7 yrs at the time to finally find more of his work. It was seriously driving me nuts trying to find his work with no success. And I'm pretty good at researching and finding what the things I want. Well obviously that wasn't the case this time huh?? Lol
@@saintessa u've been living in matrix? I just rewatched the whole trilogy in 1 evening, and now i needed to listen Rob Dougan's masterpieces. FK i cannot wait anymore, NEO help me!!
Good to see people are still listening to this! I was listening to this once and rang a friend I aint spoken to in a long time, somehow he had RobD on in the background and as a huge RobD fan it was the greatest coincidence I have ever experienced.
Hey Rob, You need to really produce more complete products like this! ❤️ You are not simply a great composer, You are an artist and communicator with a voice, that cannot be imitated. It must be prohibited for people like You to not make music and/or be sponsored 😒
