The strongest benchers in the world are tall. In the end, being taller is more beneficial because taller people have larger muscle bellies and are capable of developing more total muscle mass to lift the weight. Edit: to all the ignorant people liking the comment below this, “muscle bellies” - you are making yourselves look stupid. Muscle bellies is a legitimate term. See my comment below for explanation.

Frederick Dorsey longer arms make it a lot harder. Some of the 5’10” and under WR’s are pushing up as many reps as many of the 6’4” and up DL.

I will never forget the Bills took Terell Troupe over Gronk. It has got to be one of the dumbest things any NFL team as ever done in the history of this sport. Yea don’t take the best TE of all time who’s actually from Buffalo.......another spectacular pick by “professional evaluators of talent”. I would have fired the entire scouting department.

rob = 265 pounds body weight , so he is lifting 85 percent of body weight so a 160 pound guy who lifted the same percent would lift 136 pounds round down to 135 pounds and that would be 1 45 pound plate on each end instead of 2. So how many reps can you with 85% of your body weight? Then you can compare.
