My friends and I were dressed as batman characters at Les Gets crankworx 2017 the evening following Fin’s win; he came over off his own back and hung out with us for the best part of an hour - he’s was a really cool chilled out guy. I really hope I see him do well in the future!
I like this kid he's funny. Imagine the kind of results he's going to get on race day though, once he learns those levers on the handlebars are called "brakes" 😂🤘
its about time paradise produced a fast kid, wtf have canadians been doing all these years smashing millions of runs at whistler and not producing anyone good except for Steve Smith - in the UK we have no mountains or chairlifts or money - we have to walk our bikes back up and get 3 runs a day - but still produce world champions. Good Luck Finn ! and Rob is great to see you making a good wage from this Red Bull work.
To speak truthfully though, the race circuit in Canada is hard because there are not that many DH races, and they are incredibly far apart. The race scene just isn't that big and most people don't pay much attention to it.
Finn grew up skiing and playing hockey. Winter sports. The problem in Whistler is the season is too short. Biking season is only a few months long and for some of it you are out of town.
Oh! He's not as young as he used to be- forgot growing up happens, I still have an image of that slightly annoying 12 year old... haha much more likeable now
