Ik weet nog goed als puber dat ik met mijn ouders en zus aan het eten waren in een restaurant in Oostvoorne. Ik vroeg mijn vader om de autosleutels om het laatste uur van radio VERONICA mee te maken. Kwam huilend terug en vloekend !!!! Ook heb ik voor de eerste keer gespijbeld op school en tevens de laatste keer maar voor VERONICA maak je absoluut een uitzondering. Ging in de pauze weg en zei tegen de leraar ,tot morgen , en ik vertrok naar het Malieveld (was niet ver weg) Moet weer een traantje weg pinken als ik al die oude beelden zie en de vertrouwde stemmen van RADIO VERONICA. In het Westland stond op elk tuinbouw bedrijf radio VERONICA aan en goed hoorbaar. Wat jammer dat ze zoiets van ons afpakken. Grotere belangen spelen hier een rol. Groet Harry.
